I haven't seen too many of his fights but I recently saw him vs. Forrest Griffin and I was fairly amazed at how easily he picked Forrest apart. He basically toyed with him and won with a relaxed punch. Crazy skills.

anderson silva is a smart fighter, he paces himself that throws other off, Even if hes not punching strong on certain occasions its to keep the pace up on alot of fighters that carry so much weight to height ratio they tire very easily. His ground game is good and he doesnt mind getting takin down sometimes. Being put on your back isnt a week trait, he goes into survival mode, fighting for his life and he always comes out of it. Thats why he may seem scared when hes on the ground. fight for life
