  • horrible music!

  • Great music!

  • Apache's can do this, because they have an articulating rotor system, any army helicopter pilot could do this with some training, especially those crusty vietnam pilots they are the best. The Lynx is not the fastest helicopter the Sikorsky X-2 and Chinook, oh and the cheynne are faster, it is impressive i admit. By the way that A-Team stuff is crap, if the rotor stop turning or even slow down below certain airspeeds the aircraft will fall like a rock

  • @chief153bo

X-2 is not a helicopter. It's an unspecified rotorcraft, just like the Osprey.

  • HD - yeah right...

  • The pilot is gutsy for attempting this. I wonder how he felt the first time he did it. Unlike an airplane, if something goes wrong with these flips, there is little chance of survival beyond soft crashing.

  • reminds me Blue Thunder and A-team 2010

  • Only two helicopters (to date) regularly perform the same stunts as in this video. the Bo105 - the Red Bull one. And the other is the Westland Lynx (fastest helicopter in the world).

Both are able to perform these stunts due to the design of the rotor head.

  • Pilot's name is chuck Aaron. Chuck is the only FAA-certified helicopter stunt pilot and is a master as making a helicopter do things ‘it isn't supposed to do’. He taught himself how to fly the aerobatic routine he performs at air shows in the Red Bull helicopter and now has 23 years and over 17,000 hours of experience.

  • This is real, pilot has a moustache, thats how you know this shits legit.

  • Which helicopter is that?

  • I saw this a few years ago. TRUST ME ITS REAL.

  • Before anyone starts blabbin about this bein' fake (as others have on another posted video of this guy), this 100% non-bs video is just a great example of a VERY talented pilot behind the controls of a VERY unique helicopter, built in a way that makes in capable of such movements. (37% credit goes to chopper, 63% goes to pilot, you are a ballsy and skilled mofo)

  • thats sick

  • Those cables clinging to the top of the cockpit say "This guy is THE SHIT" all day long. Space shuttles beware.

  • absolutely insane! Kudos to the pilot~!

  • That was sick...

  • deff former military

  • crazy
