Based on the footage, I'm guessing it was a hit to the vagas nerve with runs alongside the carotid artery in the neck.
When the nerve is struck it causes a drop in heart rate and blood pressure which would explain the guys wobbly legs.
The technical term for it is vasovagal syncope.
