The Saints WASN'T ALWAYS BAD, they had a few winning Seasons in the late 80's and early 1990's when the Saints ahd Jim Mora as their coach, during that span(from 1987-1992) they went to playoff(wildcard) appreances 4 times.

And in the 2000 Season they went to the wildcard and had their first ever playoff win.

From 2003-04 they had winning seasons(although they missed the playoffs but still their 9-7 to 8-8 seasons were winning seasons)
