I used the video in. The camera is a cheap CMOS 9V type. The camera is smaller than a 9V battery, actually. I put a wide-angle lens on, but the IR filter was in the old lens, so then I needed a filter on the outside of the wide-angle to get the colors somewhat normal.
How did you feed the camera into the A3?
Via a USB or the video-in connector?

Nice. Maplin Electronics sell a lot of tiny CCTV cameras. I may give it a go!
