Im thinking about getting a pair of these with some long tube headers and just stright piping my 89 crown vic . (yes im serious) any suggestions on header choice?
Love my LM1's man. Bout time a decent amount of people are tired of the same old flowmaster sound. This exhaust is a raw kinda sound, and is not for pussies concerned about being "too" loud. My buddy had LM1's, with an offroad X, and sold it because he got pulled over 1 damn time. I told him he was retarded, and theres no such thing as too loud. If thats a daily driver, Set that exhaust system to a cutout and put a muffler on the other one to stick out the side for when you need to drive past the police station.
To be honest i don't really worry about crossing the police station. I actually been to the station in my car with no problems. Its mostly the power tripping cops with nothing better to do that i need to worry about.

Correct, they are AFS Reproduction C5 Z06 wheels in polished aluminum. Sizing is 18x9.5 all the way around. Tires up front are Bridgestone 265/35/18 and rear tires are BfGoodrich Drag Radials 295/35/18. Not sure if you can get them with a lip, since even the factory wheels had no lip. If you want lip on your rims you might need to look elsewhere.

well I know that the LM1 is said to get all of that once you start modding the rest of you exhaust like you have..and I'm guessing you put all those mods on at once? I still have stock exhaust up through the cats so it's not bad. would a LM1 be bad in my case ayway?
Yeah basically on a True Dual set-up instead of using 2 mufflers, i wanted to raise some hell and opted for the shotgun resonators. But to be honest they are not worth the money they are priced at. All they are is some straight through piping, thats it. If you want to be loud like that just have an exhaust shop build you an x-pipe, then just run dumps with no mufflers.
Might as well just have open pipes; aren't those SLP LM 1 "resonators" just empty glasspack shells?
