I think musictrack has instrument demos that are among the best in any language. I also find the host entertaining even if I can only understand the technical names he uses.
I've never heard anything from the Origin that has made me take note. Not really impressed with this at all. To expensive & actually to much going on to make it intuitive & fun I think.
youre right, people should post youtube videos only if YOU can understand their language. who does he think he is posting videos that he wants to post in the language that he speaks.
I think what adisck wanted to say is that an open vst filter has a certain characteristic, by passing much higher frequencies than the analog counterpart. You will hear that with an open LP and especially with an HP filter. I personally see it as an extension of range because you do not have to open the filter that far. However, I also do not consider my ears as perfect.
Very good. I didn't understand a word BUT I understood a lot through the practical demonstation. (well you understand "minimoog") He plays the instrument to hear the sounds, uses the joystick, shows how the buttons work, demonstates the sequencer and most of all HE SHOWS HE ENJOYS IT - all in Japanese. This is very kind of him and honouring for ARTURIA, a Japanese man is demonstating a French product. Normally non Japanese demostrate Japanese Rolands, Yamahas and Korgs. (Neither am I French too)

Hahahaha. Soft-syths suck. Sure, cover them with effects and bury them in a mix and they're fine, but ffs, gimmie a biting analogue every time.

at 4:07, one of the notes sounds like a dx7. Are there FM operator modules in the origin?

Oh, you have perfect ear, well good for you.

What do you mean? All vst instruments have the same sounding filter? Or do you mean they all produce the same level of sound quality?
Unless you mean something else by "vst" I think you imagining things.
ArcaneInquisitor 2 years ago
Take it different . Compare this synth sound let's say with Roland SH-101 or any SH version from the '80 period ;)
