One of the main reasons I won't buy this (bisides I don't have 1000$) is that NONE of the explosion decals are the same, some have dark color some have more fire decal in them (one that I would perfer) and ALSO they're supposed to have black hardware, correct?

I have that same guitar. Med weight, great to play standing up. Built for speed, and def not a noob guitar. Bought it of some bloak that thought he had broken it because the coils came loose! If you like metal this is the guitar to go with. Deans are simply up with the times and KNOW what works! Unlike some other companies...this is quality guitar for the moern musician!

It is a REALLY GREAT guitar. I mean, I was at a guitar shop a few weeks ago trying out some Ibanez RG550's when I saw the Dean DIME section, so I walked on over, picked up a Razorback V Explosion, and I couldn't stop playing it. I was all over it. They are great guitars. The Ibanez felt great, but the DIME Explosion V was just exceptional.
