  • woawoa waoathee woatchin woawoawathe woatchin 1.48 -.150...xD

  • apparently you were wrong.. seeing as Macs are still gaining market share in an even worse economy now.

  • did he say "Jobs changed video stuff" and this you tech guy?

  • poor motherfuckers

  • No, you're just too poor.

  • 2:26 One more thing ;)

  • Talk about proved wrong in the long run!

  • Gary Krakow has no idea what he's talking about. People who buy netbooks, especially in 2008-9 were a completely different target market then what a Macintosh computer targets.

Apple has never wanted to compete with netbooks because quite frankly competing with netbooks is contest of who's shit smells worst.

  • I honestly do not see any difference in comparison between a dell and then a Mac besides the prices. Apple is retarded. They are crafty bastards that scam you of your money for a piece of shit computer. I could go get a dell for at the most 800 bucks and still get better quality then a Mac. Everyone says "ohhh, well... It's got more features" Bullshit! It's got the same damn features as a Dell if not less!

  • @Dancam12345 well the OS is different. The software package you get with a Mac is awesome. iLife and iWork beats any software that comes with a Dell. And lets not forget the design of the Mac. The design alone is one reason why a lot of people have always loved Macs.

  • @Dancam12345 To a lot of people a computer is more than just the chips and hardware that's in the computer. The Mac line in my opinion is the best looking computers on the market. Most people that don't have an eye for design or the artistic value of Apples products just don't get it and never will.

  • 800 dollars are you kidding me?AHHHHH!!! THIS WOMAN IS JUST STUPID!

  • when you think about PRICE for apple = you fail !!

when you think about VALUE for apple = you get it !!

  • apple products may be expensive but they are quality products, You often get the 'hates' becuase of the cost of the product, but cost is not a reason to hate a product i dont see why you would hate a 'product' anyway,

  • So worth it. I would pay $5,000 dollars for this laptop

  • @cenhs95ce Then you my friend are stupid

  • macs are expensive as hell but they are worth every single penny.

  • hehe this made me laugh.Someone mentioned hey man u r getting what u r paying. Well, I like mac, but what's true it's true, I wanna buy an imac (because the most of the software that I'm working with is developed for mac apps) and the price tag is funny for that cpu (intel-everywhere's intel on windows all machines), ram (as usual)&poor port connections just lan port, fw and usb come on. So, my ideal pc (mac pro) would has to b $8k according to apple? If it's made of gold I would've understand:D

  • then buy Vio for over $4,000

  • That makes me so MAD! Even though apple may have good technology they are making billions a day and charge for every thing. They are so selfish and only think about themselfs. They don't think about the economy or people! There are people in africa with nothing and they are starving. I HATE apple and I hope that they go bankrupt and see the children in africa and have that life. They can all DIE. Some day all apple crap will be in garage sales. The'll see. This is CRAP!!! AND MAKES ME MAD!

  • @mismag822100 Fuck Africa. What does that have to do with Apple? I'm sure you feed thousands of starving kids in Africa and look out for their well being every day don't you?

  • Just because theres a recession on doesnt mean apple decide "ok we have to make cheap notebooks no unibody, led display etc". i cant believe he compared macbooks to netbooks thats like comparing a aston martin to g whizz

  • nothing is more expensive than cheap , Mac 4ever

  • Does Dell, Gateway, HP tech support

approach you personally & teach you what

you can do with your computer & get the best

out of it? Will they show you how to install a

Mac OS into a PC? As far as I know, Apple

Genius staffs are more than happy to guide

you the Windows installation via Bootcamp

to make sure you get the best of both worlds.

PC brands tech? Bleahh... :b all they say is:

"Sorry sir, we don't do that here."

  • They are NOT only well made with slick design,

name me a company who supports you both

hardware & software and provide you tools to

enhance your productivity and quality technical

supports... It's not cult... if I have a spa in my

house, I don't want to leave my house either.

It's about getting best stuffs UNDER ONE ROOF!

  • Apple computers are well-made computers with good design. Even still they are way overpriced, and Apple gets on my nerves. Wmv. files run on iTunes, but m4p files don't run on anything but iTunes. You can run Windows on a Mac, but you can't run a Mac OS on a PC. It's like they are trying to get people hooked into their cult, and then once they have no choice but to stick with Apple. Plus, when I used to use iTunes, it installed MobileMe on my computer, go ahead Apple make yourself at home.

  • who is this dumb fuck she's talking to?

  • you get what you pay for... all other laptops are made of plastic, get viruses and run windows

  • Overpriced, WAY over priced, 3-4x

Not nearly as powerful as top end Windows laptop

A good quality windows laptop would be more durable... virtually every apple product I've bought has broken after ~1-2 years

Runs gimmicky, but less efficient to use software.

most of all software in the world made for windows, much of the rest is for Linux

no virus;s because there aren't enough macs around compared to PC's for the virus makers to bother trying - not because the mac is immune

  • LMAO someone is envious and jealous to boot. All of your points are invalid, lacking substance, and ridiculous.

    Macbook Pro FTW!!!

  • what about the people who have nothing and are starving to death in Africa? They make billions and charge crap because all they think about is themselfs!!! Some day that crap will be in garage sales! They make about 70 % profit ! I hope they go bankrupt and DIE of starvation and see what it's like with the children in africa! It's not worth it trust me! If every one boycotted them they'd change! I think they are FREAKING RETARDED!!!

  • @Productionpenguin

yeah... you get what you pay for... but this doesnt work that way on Apple...

no games... slow processors...bad cooling system... tooooo expensive..

other laptops are plastic?.. ever heard of sony vaio? they make all kinds of laptops... wayy cheaper, faster. better looking.. can play games... much more programs... and it is not running MAC OSX!!!!

  • @Productionpenguin Yeah, you get a thin piece of shit with a fucking slow CPU, and a crappy OS with

barely anything on it. Yeah, that's certainly better.

  • @Productionpenguin OR Linux.

  • @Productionpenguin Guess what!! you can run LINUX on mac hardware or pc hardware and it's free

Steve Jobs can Kiss my Ass!! LONG LIVE LINUX!!!!

  • sony vaio, plasticy overpriced low speced pieces of amphibian shit

  • @Productionpenguin Macs get viruses as well. Pcs can be made of metal but that raises price pointlessly and adds weight

  • @Productionpenguin Yes, and sometimes you get less than you pay for. Like a tiny 13" screen on a laptop that costs over $1000. And PC parts, like Intel processors and AMD graphics. You're pretty much just paying for the Mac OS and the name. (I have a Macbook from the mid-2000s, and it locks up just as much as my Windows box.) Just because the marketing arm of Apple told you you're getting a "better" computer doesn't make it so.

  • Apple can't make a mini for two reasons.

    1. It's junk

    2. They don't bring profit. Yes, you heard me. Apple may get severely outclassed in sales, but they make more cash.

  • Macbook can't easily get viruses or breakdown, which is an advantage over the others, but if it ever does, you're pretty much dependent on an iStore to fix it since only a few know how to get around it, and it cost a lot of money too to fix it.

  • I'm not gonna knock the Macbook off. I have to admit, it's a high-end notebook with such great features.

The thing that backs me away from it is yes, it's too expensive. Like what Gary said, you can get a good notebook for a much cheaper price. Not only that, it needs time to get used to, if you're used to Windows.

  • 1:15 what game is that?

  • need for speed

  • need for speed carbon :)

  • That guy is a Apple hater and it is hard to find a cheaper notebook that has comparible specs and that size screen

  • you are an apple fanboy ;)

  • Wrong but still I think they are very fast and I only have a iMac and I bought a pc after I got my iMac so i'm not only for Apple ;)

  • Apples new Notebooks, especially the Macbook Pro has some really nice features, as LED Display, Backlit Keyboard, Aluminium Unibody Enclosure etc. And then you get away with Windows! What more could you wan't?

  • pc's are still running on registry.... registry! That's been out since 80's?.??? No matter what, EVERY windows PC get's slower after 1 - 1.5 years, and slower and slower... and will continue to get slower unless you run "maintenance" on them, and of course format. The good old years of format and drivers... I'm happy with my mbp

  • i have never ever ever ever ever had a problem with a windows macine. i have 10 year old machines with windows 98 that run like a charm. I purposely put a virus on my xp computer so i had an excuse for a new one. (cuz oh i really wanted a new one) i got vista and i love it! people say it's crap but tis not true. is a fraction worse and people don't realize it. they just go with popular items that are overexpensive and pieces of carp.

  • I paid $599 for my laptop in 2005, and it's still as useful as it ever was.

Unless you use your laptop for VERY directed, VERY specific professional applications (music mixing, video editing, SOME graphics design work), you're wasting your money by paying $999 for a Mac.

It doesn't matter what the computer CAN do, it matters what you're going to do with it. Unless you have SPECIFIC tasks that wont run on a laptop that costs $499, buy a Windows machine.

  • what kind of crap computer did u buy? my new dell cost me 1000. i buy quality computers (although dell uses cheap plastic). u must not care about processor speed, build quality, and features.

  • csoccer1: "u must not care about processor speed, build quality, and features."

    lol...

Believe it or not... the things I care about are things like "is it useful for my purposes", "will is run the software I need", and "will it hold all the files I need".

If you pay extra for a processor that runs faster than a cheaper processor that runs everything you need, you're an idiot.

    Are you an idiot?

  • oh, are you 50 years old? please tell me you are, as you are acting like one of those "only buy what you NEED" types of people. Do I need to play games, do I need to edit movies, do I need to edit photos, do I need have a nice looking lap top? No. But do I want to? Hell yea! Will that cheap processor allow me to do any of that? Maybe the image editing, but that's about it. The fact is, cheap processors are good for web. My processors are good for everything else plus the web.

  • What are you even talking about?

I didn't say you should buy a cheap processor, and then just deal with its limitations. If you want to do video/photo editing, and play games... by all means buy a computer that does that.

The simple fact is most people don't. Most people buy a computer to go on the internet.

    It's a remarkably simple idea.

Buy a computer that does what you need a computer to do. A $999 computer is wasted on a person who only checks email, and reads the news online.

  • In all honesty, I can't remember one time that I've ever bought a PC and spent more than 50-100 replacing something. My Emachines lasted me about 6-7 years before it finally went into the grave. I have a 10 year old Toshiba laptop with Win 98 that still works, and my any issues I've had with Windows was easily fixable (Okay, Win 98 had it's problems.) Though I use a Mac now, it was more for curiosity than anything. But, the problems with Windows you speak of, were non existent with me...

  • The computers are more expensive, but if you really want to get out of the stress of windows it is well worth the money. You can get a dell for 600 but it wont run its OS as smoothly as a mac can.. I used a dell for 12 years of my life and I got a mac last year and i will never go back.plus if you want a PC you will probably spend over 1000 over the time owning it getting it either fix and getting the viruses off it..i work with computer repairs and I see a lot more problems with vista

  • Thank you. Finally someone (You) did their research before placing one of those stupid comments like "The new macbooks suck!, their so expensive!".

Seriously, in my opinion for something like a laptop, wouldn't you want something thats actually worth your money and doesn't evolve stressing out while using the computer? The macbook definitely wins by a long shot.

  • haha.. Its got new "video stuff"..

  • The Mac store is always pack with people, but I don't see people buying it. I want to buy a laptop, but it was too expensive, so I got a Dell instead. I went on Black Friday and they lower the price of previous book by $50 on a $999 and $100 on $1300, do they really think I am going for that. Apple really sucks.

  • i am just annoyed with it, first using it i really liked it and thought it ran nice and smooth but after a few months, things are slowly starting to screw up. it will lag, or stop doing something completely, it will not register clicks sometimes, and the trackpad will just stop moving or move in different directions than i want it to. just many many many many many little things, but nothing major, im waiting to get a new macbook. they are so nice.

  • did u take it to apple? u probably have a defected macbook. or, it could be a video card problem. nvidia issued driver updates to fix some of the freezing issues that a minority were experiencing.

  • too much money, still too big, we need a 9" version.

Dell Mini 910 all the way!!!!

Every Manufacturer is coming out with a 9" laptop for $500

  • Oh gosh, like a lot of little bugs and stuff like that. The main annoyance is that sometimes when switching between users it just flat freezes. It usually does it when you "switch users" as oppose to logging out, though sometimes it'll freeze anyways. I'm frankly just really annoyed with it. Maybe I'm just too attached to XP and need more time to get used to Vista. But it's been a few months, and I just hate it.

  • i got this laptop yesterday, and i have to tell you wow, i mean wow, the price is crazy we all know it but i mean wow, now everything you thought a mac wouldn't have it now does, you get amazing graphics, slim notebook, and best of all its small and portable, i mean i got the mac book not the pro, but its really awesome, i cant keep telling you how much its good, now apple takes the small notebook details and makes them the best enjoyable laptop computer you will ever use in your life time :)

  • ?? Ermmmmmm...sorry Jobs, you have to do better than that!

  • Asus Eee

PLUS FCK MAC ITS TOO EXPENSIVE!

  • expensive? its overhyped and overpriced. Its not even funny how big of a ripoff macs are.

  • agree, but keep in mind that the OS is doing a great job compare to VISTA. Now lets see what happen with WIndows 7. Will Microsoft finally learn from their mistakes ?

  • i love the guys glasses any one now who makes them

  • I suppose they are kinda cool, but they look like glasses a douche bag would wear. Thus, they probably cost as much as your house.

  • You would be hard pressed to make a billet aluminum case computer with built in software for less than $1000.

  • I've always preferred PCs and Windows, even with it feeling almost stupid at times, but now with Vista I'm forced to change my mind. I really, really HATE Vista. It's like, they didn't even finish making it before the put it on the market. I'm sick of all the BS - I never thought I'd say it, but I'm getting a Mac.

  • who is this guy?

  • Yeah I have Mac and Windows and my blood pressure always shoots through the roof when I have to use the Windows system. It just feels clunky and beta-like, even Vista. Macs are not perfect and mine has spent a lot of time in for servicing. However, as a frequent user of both systems I have to say I find myself more productive on Mac that I'll find any reason to use it over the PC

  • go buy your dell and your hp. it won't come with MAC OS X!!!!

  • This interview was useless. It said nothing about the specs of the laptop compared to others or how they were able to bring the price down so much.

  • Someone HELP me out please.

What is the best type of laptop to SPECIFICALLY do animation on? (3d and 2d), compose music, edit films, design websites, digital paint and write scripts on? basically all around musician/filmmaker use. thanks

  • Macbook Pro, no doubt. Mac OS has a great suite of professional apps for 2d and 3d design, as well as professional audio/video editing. Basically, everything you would need (it seems). The only thing my Mac can't do well is games, really, because of a lack of 3rd party support.

No laptop will have quite the same processing power for non-realtime 3d rendering as a desktop, but my Macbook Pro certainly does it quite well.

  • Im a Mac user so I would say the MacBook Pro. The truth is you can do all that stuff on a Windows system as well, just dont go for a budget or entry level machine. Look at laptops with as fast a processor and as much ram as you can afford then decide which OS your are most comfortable using. The best laptop is different for every user.

  • Macs are solid, quality products, which will last a lot longer than any HP or Dell.

I'd gladly spend the extra 400 dollars if it means not using a microsoft os ever again!

  • Then go buy one you old fuck.

You don't run the economy or a company you fat fuck. So shut the fuck up old man.

Apple isn't over priced, it's the other way around other labtop manufacturers are underpriced. In most major retail outlets labtops sell at a loss (best buy, circuit city, frys ect). I'm sorry but if this old fuck is saying your not allowed to sell a labtop for a profit fuck him, he's fucking stupid and he doesn't know shit about basic economics.

  • lol. "labtop."

  • Fuck!

  • oh wow another new mac...and its still over 1500 dollars...suprise suprise..might as well pay dell the same price and get truly screwed over. when will pplz learn to build their own shit and stop buying this mac and dell crap. i mean come on most this stuff usually lasts maybe a year or two on the dell side of things. on the mac side you gotta buy all new apps and no free apps out there for mac. why cause apple doesn't share shit. nuff said.

  • Even though most of what Apple sells is really expensive (and I'm talking desktops/laptops here), they always offer extended payment plans. Even the new releases allow customers to use this extended payment plan. New Macbook ranges from $31-$38/month and the new Macbook Pro goes from $48-$59/month. That's really not too bad.

  • What interest do they charge? Also, i just checked the UK price - lowest model £949.00 (approx $2000).

    Bargain! :p

  • thats about the same as hp/dell finance plans though. the other thing is that macs are expensive for their parts and repairs. my friend insanely spent over $800 fixing his macbook pro which cost him $1700($2k after he paid it off on credit card.) and that was just replacing an optical drive and bad memory. on a pc dvdrw's and memory combined wouldn't be anywhere close to that maybe $200 with labor. build your own pc its better i say, just imo ofcourse.

  • Sounds very expensive.

  • You could buy a Dell? Or an HP? How about a steaming pile of shit? Those laptops don't compare to Macbooks.

  • Does apple have those touch screen computers like HP does? im asking seriously. i just seen an HP commercial showing this cool touch screen computer that doesnt use a mouse, you just use your hand.

  • So far, Apple doesn't OFFICIALLY have touchscreen laptops. However, for a couple hundred dollars, you can have a company retrofit a really clean, nice touchscreen on your Macbook. I have this, and they do a great job.

  • I would get an Apple computer, but im just so used to Windows. and i hear Apple is bad with video games. Is it true?

  • Well, the fact is that Mac OS has very little game support. HOWEVER, Macs can run Windows natively (and very easily), so you can just boot into Windows to play games.

This is changing though, I believe. id Software, ea, and a bunch of others have pledged to produced more games for Mac OS in the near future, which I think is pretty likely (since Mac OS now has about a quarter of the market share).

  • Also, I have found Mac OS is VERY intuitive, and much less of a hassle than Windows. Ask any Mac user, and the answer is nearly unanimous- they are very happy with the experience. It's all personal preference though.

  • i'm sorry, but that's bullshit :(

  • Wow. $999 for a laptop? Hell no, why would I buy an Apple for that price when I could get an HP or a Dell for $650?

  • Why? Because Mac OSX beats Windows/Vista hands down. Until you actually spend some time comparing the two systems, you will remain an clueless PC user.

  • Arguing about computers, wow. Your parents must be proud.

  • I bought one of the 1st Mac Book Pro's available. It has never dropped, deleted, spun off or lost anything. I have over 2k photos in it and have faith that it will be there for me when I need it. Its 4 years old and has never seen a Mac store. The first day I used a IBM (Stink Pad) it crashed and was never repaired. My business partner has gone thru 3 Dells and 1 Avio in the same time period. What would that state of reliabilty be worth to you?

  • not impressed

  • "Nvideoo.. video... video stuff" It's called Nvidia, Mr. Senior tech reporter.

  • cut him a break, mr perfect.

  • funny glasses man!

  • MADAME SARKOZY

  • She's hot!

  • 999 bucks is quite cheap! my laptop is medicoure and cost more!

  • everyone's trying to come out with mini laptops... bla bla bla. Big deal, apple has a record of taking something, revamping it in the "apple" way and making it the best thing it could be. Plus Asus, IBM and the rest are still using Vista... the problem that Mac users will not have to bother with

  • i use a pc, have done all my life. built my own for years, and use my current dell laptop for work and play.

i used a mac for college work for years also.

i will never buy a pc again, until major things change. top of my wishlist. new macbook.

  • mac users need to wake the fuck up, they think their macs r good b/c they're expensive. it's not that the world cant afford to buy one, its just nothing good. think about that

  • What was that dumbass looking around for?

  • You can not compare a Mac with a "windoze" computer. That is like comparing a Ferrari with a Pinto station wagon. You get dependability, stability and quality with both the Ferrari and the Mac. You get slower, unreliable and unstable with the Pinto and Windoze machine. Mac's are the mainstay in the printing and animation world. I don't see Pixar or Lucas Films using windoze machines. They use Macs. If you use windoze that is your choice. My choice is the Ferrari of computers,

  • you know when you make your own hardware for a specific type of software you don't have any compatibility issues and this is why mac does not make their operating system on the open pc market, now mr Rouge when apple makes a operating system for all open market personal computers and does not and i repeat "does not" have any bug/issues i will bow down to apple and say "not Worthy Not worthy" but as of now i advise you to Shut The Fuck UP" it was Bill gates that bailed out apple you MORON.

  • hahaha quality and PC in the same sentence? it made me laugh, after an education discount the macbook would be 900 bucks so thats not too bad

  • The point is you can get a computer with the same or better specs for hundreds less. As for macs "looking better", they all look the same. Not arguing Macs build quality isn't good, it's just too expensive for the amount of actual features you get. I'm not a fan of the carbon copy apple look either, very little variety.

  • apple is NOT a dell or Hp.....you really have to used them to figure that out. If you can't afford get something else...youll be sorry you did.

  • what is with the obsession over steve job's health? yes, he's getting old, yes he's eventually going to retire. The company is made up of more people than steve jobs

  • lol, that guy was so Jew-ey...

  • True to the Price point! Really ...no one has two nickels to rub together and they -APPLE-jack the price up for a laptop. HeadON into a Recession!!!

BTW their laptop can cook pancakes w/ their TEMP spikes!!

  • Macs look so much better than pcs and run better who cares about gaming i can play all the games i want on a Mac cause i can run windows on it all though i do think they are a little overpriced

  • Fuck Apple Computer. In the past few years they've been screwing their customers (me since 1985) more and more. I can give you at least 10 solid examples of this across the product line from my own experiences.

My name for this 'marketing plan' - iCancer. ~:(

  • cancer is a serious fatal illness, don't compare your dissatisfaction with computers to cancer...

  • People love to pay more if they feel they can be a part of something cool and trendy.

  • They showed SJ's blood pressure because we spread rumors that he was dead. Now he likes to joke about it.

He doesn't look well, that's true, and rumor has it that he will be retiring soon. (Who knows how long?)

    RUMOR has it. ...Rumor.

  • the prices are fair

  • PC's are crap. Believe me.

  • aww fuck you macks can really take a dick. theyr reall pieces of shit and too hard to mod an hack into ur own computer. they r for old people who dont know how to use a pc and fer little kids. pcs will always rule just like they have always. i could get a fucking used car and a pc laptop for the price of a macbook pro. mac always comes up with new laptops so no reason buying a peice of shit thats gonna be replaced by somthing with just another useless feature for 2x more

  • Obviously you have never used a "mack" before. You are probably right about the car and PC, but you'd end up with a shitty clunker car and a shitty computer. yayyyy

  • cleazenby speaks truly

  • Wow, your spelling shows just how smart pc users are. Get a Mac and use spell check.

  • Ah yes. Having a Mac is bound to fix all spelling and grammatical errors when typing online.

    Typical Macfag argument.

  • haha macbooks are ok but since an "update" in 2007 or so, most people have not been able to burn properly. at least 1 in every 3 CDs or DVDs attempted to burn is a coaster. sucks to waste so much money on blank DVDs when you pay $1500+ for a so called "premium" laptop.

  • I got an awesome HP for 600 less.

  • Does he have any idea what he's talking about? lol, "video stuff" and that bewildered look on his face... :/

  • yea this economoy money is money

better to spend a one time price of a computer or laptop

    health vs technology

poor citizens have to chooose what a life

  • It was so annoying to watch this old guy talk

  • Completely bias, if that guy is not being payed to bash mac (and Steve Jobbs?!) then my name is Antonio Mali Mali Garmando (and it's not)

  • Uhm, he has no idea. I think the old macbook was a little overpriced, but they really fixed that now with the 1 piece metal casing and new features. 999 is not too much for a machine this beautiful. And for 600 you don't have a laptop that as as good as this one.

  • totally true. i agree. look at customer satisfaction, computers needing repairs, quality is still superior with apple laptops. keep buying hp for 499 to see what u get. i want peace of mind and not be worrying about my computer failing. if u dont mind these things yeah why not get a hp and cross your fingers

  • Macs are a premium product! You cannot compare a PC laptop full of viruses that is a constant pain to use to a beautiful MacBook that is a dream to use! And Steve Jobs, at 53, is fit & healthy. As we age, our look changes a bit. At least he's not overweight like the "analyst!"

  • I've used PC's for 7 years now, never had a virus.

  • lol your such a douche bag. its only premium because you pay such a higher price and therefore "think and feel" it has to be better; when in reality a PC worth $600 and a simple FREE download of anti-virus can keep it clean and running well for years. and you dont live with steve job and are not his doctor, therefore you dont know shit about his true health. neither do i, obviously. so lets just wait and see what happens, dont talk out of your ass all the time.

  • i agree with the first part but steve jobs health is being a concern. but it can also only be speculation. probably the guy even had a pc under his desk and we dont know.

the fat guy is overweight but no one cares because he is not steve jobs

  • That last sentence killed me.

  • you only get viruses cuz u know nothing about computers, and for this price. you can get a much much much much betttter pc. the highest end macbook pro costs 2799 and only has a 8600m! for 1300 u can get a gaming laptop which rapes the mac.

  • I would put my mac pro against any pc on the market and oh wait....my mac pro is almost 3 years old. It still kicks the current pc butt. By the way ALL computers are pc's. Personal Computers.

  • Agreed. Since MAC went Intel the only real difference is the operating system and the fact that it's written around their own hardware choices. Otherwise, you can get a much better deal and a better computer with a PC. However, I would have to say that OS X wins over Vista except maybe where software and games support is concerned I guess.
