if you like sam hain, you'll like sam hain from the 80's real ghostbusters series. in the episodes "when halloween was forever" & the two part episode "halloween". he had an action figure for the series. as well as two new action figures for the retro-action release. and is in the comics too. the writer & director of trick r treat. probably saw this growing up as they would have been that age & into that sort of thing. this is likely their inspiration for their version of the character.
I'm so glad this movie is finally coming out...but so disappointed it didn't get a shot at the silver screen considering all the other dribble that gets released. There hasn't been a good movie that's captured the spirit of Halloween in a long time.
There still might be some hope. Bad Hat Harry supposedly purchased the distribution rights to this movie. It's rumored to officially be released October 2009. But if it's not out by the end of this year it may never to be seen again.

Unfortunately the video stops because my memory card filled up, so this and part 1 are all of the Q&A I have.

It cuts out before the best part, when the moderator guy and Mike make fun of the Halloween remake! Do you have that part too?

This is so sad the way Warners have screwed Mike and the public out of seeing this film.
