The liberals in the revolution did just fine roughing it all the way until our country was born. So I think liberals will end up doing just fine. LoL conservatives like to keep things the way they are because they aren't so good with adaptation.
Thanks for doing these videos and sharing your knowledge on how to survive. Running and gunning and hiding in the woods is real short term stuff - you teach the long-term "how-to" daily living survival skills. Not only do you teach it but you live it, which is the true test. Well Done!
you dont need anymore food lol ill click on a link to get you some slim fast if you want. Liberals dont all live in the city, i would think most live in the suburbs since we are the working class. A lot of Seattles richer areas like bellevue are full of big corporation loving republicans, they like to be close to golf courses and their yachts.
LOL. My family and I love your vids Dsarti! You have a great sense of humor and your vids are very educational. We are prepping here and it is always nice to see other people's way of doin' thangs! Keep up the good work.
When the grocery shelves are emply and the streets too dangerous to go out - There will always be the mail order catalog for us city folks. I'm going to wait for the crisis to start before I order, then I will know what I need.
You have Country Sense with a twist of Amish and Mormon Capitalist 1st amendment 'balls' (for the lack of a better word). Keep the vids coming, I'm learning a lot. Thanks.

Thanks Dave, I was planning on ordering from the Ready Store this week anyway. I will order from your link and I am glad if it helps you out. The Ready Store has really good prices and excellent products. Also, their customer service is among the best in the business, really nice people.
A clean house is the sign of a sick mind,..:) Thanks for the link, we will check it out. Secret Squirrel and I hope you have a good day! Keep the videos coming! :)
Don't forget you're posting wordwide, David. As most sites, they haven't even thought about shipping anywhere else than US & Canada. You go to Shipping Policy and first thing you get a map of North America. LOL.!!
CONTINUED: There are thousands of impact sites around the world. Most of the small ones have eroded over the passing of time. Doctor Alvarez has evidence that the Gulf Of Mexico is an impact site. There are buried petrified forests all over the world with trees in the upright position. There are mammonths that are found flash frozen. There are vast areas of the earth littered with volcanic rock. There are fossil graveyards all over the world. Fossils at the South Pole.
Dave, I have a major in GEOLOGY from UTSA, here in San Antonio. The more I think about the 26,000 year Black Rift cycle the more I understand geological history. Here are a few proven asteroid impact sites on the earth that only geology students really know about. Sudbury/Ontario, Canada - impact crater 140 kilometers DIAMETER. Vredefort/South Africa - impact crater 130 kilometers in DIAMETER. Popigai/Taymyr-Russia - impact crater 100 kilometers in DIAMETER.
@ArmyKid1997 yes in my opinion most people who affiliate with city people are stupid preferring to live in fantasy over reality. and Yes most democrats republicans liberals green peace....or any other political bullshit artists are even more idiotic then a city slicker
City people are screwed, because most people that live in the city rent their homes instead of own. This is really bad because most landlords decide rent according to inflation, and costs.
So when we start seeing hyper inflation from the currency collapsing they wont be able to afford rent. So city people would probably be better off trying to get out of the city, and out of debt instead of buying freeze dried food.
Not me. This month I knocked the mortgage on my condo down from 17000 to 14000. Next month It will be 11 thousand. My goal is to have it paid off by November (but I think I can do it sooner). Then I'll start saving for a down payment on a semi-rural homestead. I want it far enough out so I can have fruit trees and a big garden but close enough to keep my current job. Of course that's my gradual decline plan. I also have a SHTF plan but I sure hope I don't have to use it.
@vention4wh, So why worry about the condo mortgage? If SHTF happens, you won't have to make the payments anyhow. Why not take that extra cash, and apply it towards getting out of town??? Although if you do move, I won't have anybody doing "In the city" videos, to refer ppl to that are worth a dang. Of all the "city folk" I've seen here on Youtube, your efforts are by far the best. Oh well get out'a Dodge while the gettin's good!!!
You have a good point there and I gave it a lot of thought. Part of why I chose to payoff the mortgage is because historically most people who plan for a SHTF situation end up positioned wrong when the SHTF doesn't come.
There's a good chance of a SHTF but there's also a good chance that it won't and that the economy will continue it's gradual decline into 3rd world status. If that happens I'd be better off paying my debt while I still have a good job.
So basically I'm planning both for a SHTF and for a gradual decline. In the SHTF my food storage, EMP proof bug out vehicle, my bug out locations, guns and ammo and all that will come into play. But if the S doesn't hit the fan, my current plans will get me into the house with the big garden and fruit trees before I'm 50. And when I move my savings and the money from selling the condo should pay for the place outright, or nearly so.
I disagree on the rent thing. Landlords can only charge what people can pay. A guy who rents out a house has to have someone in there. If the place is empty for more than a few months, houses have a nasty habit of turning into a pile of junk. I don't know if that applies to apartment buildings though.
Very true and if they can't make enough to support the tax or the debt attached to the property, then the property changes hands and is sold to another person or entity. When that happens the debt and tax on it go down so the landlord can then charge lower rent.
Right now the economy is cut in two. We have the Speculator/Bankster economy where all the newly created money is going and that causes an inflation pressure and then we have the real economy with job losses and deflation.
Oh I don't know. I'm a city guy and I think I'd relate to you just fine. Of course I'm a diesel mechanic, up to my ears in grease and road dirt, and sometimes end my day digging drill shavings out of my underwear. Those things are sharp! Anyway, freeze dried goods have a place in anyone's food storage. I have some as well.
I came from a small town and moved to Phoenix, AZ because of work. I made a hell of a lot more money. I'm an Electrician, I moved out of Phoenix about a year and a half ago and I plan on going back just because of work. Theres no steady work in small towns.
Ya, my Dad moved to northern Idaho and I can't blame him. It's beautiful up there. When he left there he said that anyone who moves there needs to bring all the money they'll ever spend there, with them when they move in. Earning much of anything is difficult there. He drove longhaul while he was there.
Here in the city I can make a lot, at least a lot compared to my modest needs but my pay would take a dramatic cut in any rural area. So I'm saving while I can.
