I was going to Scissor Sister gigs before Gaga even hit the charts here in the UK. My best friend had their first album about 10 years ago. In fact one of the first dates my now husband and I went on was to a Scissor Sisters gig, that was about 6 years ago.
@SkwerlBergamot they look soooo fabulous and incredibly sexy on the stage, i just watched they live show this week and felt the same way as you said!!!! Jason Sellards looked sooo sexual attractive even knowing he's gay myself!!!!
I am a dj from China... and I have seen gaga is on the top of everything here. I can't fight back to those horrible trends that surrounding all over the world now, but I choose to appreciate the real artist. they are the best POP bands of the modern times.

@PaintsofBlack They don't because they produce non conventional pop. Most of the top US charts are repackaged dance/rnb songs, with a smattering of indie (as us brits would call it, americans would call it rock music) and country music. Plus, they are openly gay and won't cheapen it by doing cheap lesbian titillation ala Britney/Rhianna/Madonna etc. So thats two reasons why america will never accept them and they had to come to the UK to be noticed.
I don't know why but I really love the clear/plastic jacket that Jake wears in this lol. Probably because he's wearing it ;) but really it's awesome! haha

Someone PLEASE explain to me why the Scissor Sisters and Lady gaga are being compared? Yes, they are the opening band for her. But if either one of them saw you arguing about who is better, they wouldn't be impressed. They like each other and their music is different. oh I think I finally get the Lady Gaga thing. She is high-camp, but thinks she is supposed to be taken seriously. Scissor Sisters are high-camp and do it to perfection. Gaga needs to remember where her tongue should be. In her cheek. These guys are brilliant.

Maybe we should less be a racist fucks who tell others what is "good" and what is "bad" and world will be a better place, Cause no one really gives a fuck about what you or others or even me think. So it's maybe better to shut up when you feel the need to teach other people of what you think is right.

@artemvyrtosu Okay, first off, I wasn't being racist. Racism has to do with race, and I said nothing about their ethnicity. Second, I wasn't telling anyone what's good or bad. In fact, it's the rest of the world that tells me as a girl that I need to be skinnier, even if it's hazardous to my health. Thirdly, don't tell me to shut up and not teach others what I think, when a) I was merely stating my opinion and b) you're doing the exact same thing. Practice what you preach.

@WWEFalcon to answer your question, they are now going to be her opening ACT even though it should be the other way around, I ONLY BOUGHT TIKS cause of them, but too bad its Gaga as the headliner..thats okay cause Im going to 7 concerts this year of theirs..1 in February in NJ, and the other 5 in Fl, NOLA, Atlanta, TX and then Gaga w/SS in NOLA again..can not wait. SS are the best bands out there right now....they've been since their inception in 2001.
