@matty01231 You need to connect one access point to the router and connect another access point to another router (friends) then link them together in the settings.

Uhm. I used the CD that came with it (configured, and all that)

but for some reason, whenever I try to connect to it(access point), it doesn't seem to work.

Does the cables have to be connected in a certain way?

Hi there,

1. enter into Mozilla/Internet Explorer,

2. then type the default gateway into the address bar,

3. a username and password box should show up,

4. LEAVE the Username box empty and type the password (default password)

actually, an access poin has 4 functions, including the function of the range exoander. an access point can work as an adapter, access point, range expander, and bridge...
