  • Hunter was badass! And as I recall, he almost always shot the bad guys at the end of each episode, thus saving the tax payers a lot of money! The court in his jurisdiction must not have seen very much use.

  • This video works for me

  • was this on Saturdays at 8PM or 9 Pm eastern ?

  • @indyfan22k It was 10 PM Eastern It was on after 227 and Amen for most of its run. I know this because my dad would watch this all the time. He would even tape the episodes on VHS, even though we have DVD's today.

  • Back in tje 80s we had Hunter, Magnum, Crockett & Tubbs. Now we have too many csi shows/law & order shows with forgettable characters.

  • this show had me at the opening credits...

  • Its nice, but it needs more cowbell

  • Confession: I didn't click on this to hear the theme as much as I did to see the deliciously gorgeous Stepfanie Kramer again.

  • Back in the day when this show was on with Golden Girls, Amen, and 227. That was NBC's real "must see tv."

  • @manderoo5

Agreed. Now look what it's become.

  • the 80s is the only decade a program would start by pointing a gun at you.

  • thank you for keeping the works for me quote that others who posted this intro edited out for some idiotic reason.

  • David Caruso= Removes shades and Cool Quips then you go to jail.

Fred Dryer= Shooting you in the chest and roll credits......ahhhhhhh so simple!!!!!!!

  • Oh the memories. They used to air this on Swedish television in the early 90s, too bad my mother strongly disapproved of me watching this :(

  • good old fred it works for me steven j cannell is the absolute king of action tv dramas

  • Hunter is gun happy.

  • The end is the best part of the opening credits. Classic!!!

  • Works for me.

  • 'Works for me!'

LOL! God, my mom and I love that quote! We'd always say that after the credits...ahhhh, memories!

  • I kept searching 'tl I found one with the "works for me" part on it, otherwise, it wouldn't feel complete. I guess I can go back to work now. Thanks for the video, and the memories.

  • @cydoniaknights1 I'd like to have your job. haha

  • Is it 1980's in my mind right now or what? LOL I think it is, I just left 2009 alone for a moment and it felt so damn good! LOL

  • "Works for me!"

Absolute legend!!! Cheers for the upload. Made my year!

  • Would that episode be "The Shooter" from season one?

  • Hey guys, I remember watching this as a kid and especially one episode comes to mind where Hunter somehow discovers that the murderer is playing an arcade game where you is supposed to draw as fast as possible or something like that.. • I used to love watching this.Hunter was so hot.McCall was really pretty.

  • Sgt. Hunter was Bad ass he handled

    his business.

  • 80's flashback!

  • love this one! I hated that they were always changing the theme from season to season. I can understand changing clips to go with the new season, but the theme for Season 1 had more of a Rock edge than the other over-synthesized versions.

    "Works For Me"

  • Didn't remember that theme song was sooo good.... cool!

  • It works for me!

  • best show ever to watch late night

  • love that show sat night in the 80's was the best
