@apexsignal1 Yeah i've been collecting since 1982 and i still buy vinyl! My collection has now grown to about 150,000 records! It's an addiction i can't stop purchasing vinyl!!!
CHI!!!!! stand the FUCK UP!!!! I remember when WGCI and WBMX having a space @ the taste of chicago. and this trak comes to mind. everybody would be dancing!!!!! this was like 86' aw man!!!!!!
Completely agree with Oldschoolhero69, I was 16 in the alte 80's and was so grateful I made the last 3 years of the acid house revolution. North East England was immense in 1989.
Had this on the 'house of 87' album blew me away, so glad i was in my late teens when house broke it was like walking into the light, my musical taste would never be the same again! wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!

When I HEAR THAT SOUND, I WANNA GO UNDERGROUND"
If you were asked in the street to name one tune that represent the Chicago House sound, and you gave this tune. You won't go far wrong. I wish that the whole world was in the England, during 1986 to 1989 - People just loved House Music. I just wish that America as a Nation could have seen the scenes that were happening with this music over in the England. It was like the Beatles coming over to England in the 1960's. House music came to England, and it every youngster was raving to this sound!
Jazzy M The Jacking Zone(Radio Show for House music - in London) went mental over this tune! But it was up in the North of England, that House music WAS first appreciated Manchester, Leeds then London caught hold of it and then everybody around the world was wondering what the hell was happening in London? I will never forget those times. House music was so big that HipHop music was struggling big time England. Ask anyone about those times when these types tunes were flying out of Chicago, Usa
@redjam40 Classic music!! Hip hop is still going though! Britain has always been into dance music, hence rap did struggle back in the day over here, but now grime, rappers are all in-twinned in dance music, pop, you name it;)
@waynecoolj - Its just a classic sound. It will never die. But the atmoshere that went with it will never be recreated. You just had to be there at that time. If you missed it you missed it. It was a time that everyone was into to buying Records (*Actually going to a record shop and buying records), actually wanting to dance in a nightclub/or a rave and listening to radio. Do people do that these days?
@redjam40 lol, some people do still dance:) I remember them days and they were fun. My girl & I have over a 1000 vinyl records, but too be honest, we only buy c/d's now. They are nowhere near as good as vinyl!! I love music in general and actually had a conversation with Marshall Jefferson on facebook and asked him why rap took off and house died. To me both sets of music are wonderful and will never die!!!!:) I still have Jazzy M playing on my cassette tapes;)
