Private companies do better job in less cost than government. If you have a company don't you like profit. IS this filmaker not making money? Back in the 80's the stock of microsoft was skyhigh because you and me see them a profitable company and we invest. Is Halliburton different? This guy is anti-gun, anti-free market, pro government everything, lives in California. Such hypocrite.

If there was a private company that profited in bashing grandmothers in the head with a sledgehammer, I bet you would invest in it too. When money is the bottom line, then your soul is as hollow as a corporation, and there is no limit to as how low you can stoop. The irony: people who are pro-corporate will realize that your quality of life will ultimately be affected by corporate investors.

Because private companies are not held accountable by the average American. They only answer to their investors. Why do you think they spend MILLIONS on public relations? To fool people that corporations best interest is "people" not profit. That there is "choice" in the free market. Boy, they sure got you fooled!

I think PMCs get the job done and their certainly good at what they do. A lot of these guys try to maintain a honest company (not taking shady or unethical contracts etc.), but these Blackwater thugs have a lapse of honor. They're not like they others. I wouldn't be suprised if they turned on US troops if they got a high enough price.

It's very sad that war is often about profit. Even more sad is that fact that the same problem exists in peacetime. Many of the high priced weapon systems often don't work right and are often a detriment to our troops, but they cool and they cost a lot.
