My fav ride is right after you pass the Parkway school going towards Wilksboro you take that next right which starts you off on your ride thru the parkway all the way up to Norton Va. which is an awesome ride. bikers beware thou. early mornings with the dew and after it has rained will make those roads super slick like on glass.. other then that its a ton of fun. hiking trails especially the ones that go from under the Viaduct that goes all the way back to price park. nice little 10 mile hike
Too much snow to ride right now, but I'm looking forward to my favorite ride, from Asheville where I live, up the Parkway to Mount Mitchell. It'll cure what ails ya!
The Blue Ridge Parkway is 755 km long, and in Virginia, where I live, the road is even more hilly and curvy, and longboarding is very popular here.
Check out blueridgeparkway(DOT)org for more info if you ever plan on visiting here. The people are very friendly, especially if you bring some Swedish women, lol.
Rode the parkway fron NC80 to Linville falls and back, along with a pass up and down Little Switzerland this summer. Most amazing ride I've ever done. Your vid is just a teaser to whats in store for first time parkway goers.

I know, it was shot ad hoc with a digital camera. I wish I could go back and shoot more of it. Great place to ride.

I like the original version of the song better but it was interesting. I love to bike and look forward to hitting the parkway some day.
