no way. this is the first silent hill game I've played where when the bad guys come around the corner, I am legitimately worried, because you can't just pick up your gun and shoot. you actually have to aim. You can't just swing the lead pipe....because your enemy will dodge it and kick your ass. And you can't outrun many of them, because they'll catch up with you. Its different than the other games, but I thought it was fun.

If anything, the combat can be complex, but certainly not boring.

i think the reason why is because the nurses in this game represent alex's attraction and lust for the military nurses (according to his diary entry on august 25th) which i think is why they looks more disturbingly sexy than the nurses from the previous SH games.

Nope. After you whack them enough, they'll fall all the way down and be dead. 'Course, the Smog enemy (looks like a Lying Figure) takes a while to "die" completely, meaning there's a space between when you kill it, and when it stops making noise.

Definitely flows better than SH4, though I do miss the Gillespie story arcs. While it's true that Alex had combat training and was in a war, he'd never experience anything like this. I think there'd still be that added revulsion at these twisted monsters.
