Mine's also a 45rpm (the 78 rpm's a different take/mix?). Written - seemingly - by skiffle man Wally Whyton. Did Bill M mention anything about his pop career in his autobiography? I had a quick flick though when it was in the shops, but couldn't find anything
By 1958, they started putting the date on record labels, so I would date this as 1957
