  • I went to their recording studio/practice house with my friend Jesse of The Shitthieves and smoked out with these guys the nite before they went on tour...very cool guys

  • very yellow card themed. (life of a salesman) these guys are great though

  • Better live than 95% of other bands out there

  • not true about my dad but i love this band and this song!!!!

  • We saw them in Jacksonville Fl last weekend playing with Flogging Molly. They were absolutely fantastic!

  • 904 Rep

  • they is fuckin badass

  • i gota say, i think frazier is a better singer than aaron

  • no way.

  • saw dem with mc chris it was like earsex

  • NC consert?

  • @nileakanile fuck you...i say this out of complete jealousy

  • saw whole wheat bread live about a year ago.

i got to meet them all. they're pretty cools guys.

  • The lead guitarist is amazing!!! Come to San Fran!

  • i'm so glad my friend told me about this band. they're so fucking awesome

  • When Whole Wheat Bread wasn't all that big, they went on tour with Streetlight and they stayed at my brothers house, they're hilarious!

  • @stzahipsters Haha they still stay at peoples houses. last time they came to philly they stayed at my friends house.

  • @stzahipsters No way man, we gotta hang sometime.

  • @stzahipsters haha funny. cause that same tour with streelight manfiesto when they came to Pompano beach in Florida, they stayed in my place on the floor

  • i saw them in the asbury lanes they played for a grand total of maybe 100 people. Their guitarist is a savage he was shreddin raining blood!

  • usually I don't even like pop punk but this is a good song

  • wow, this is NOT pop punk...really?????

  • they sound pretty poppy to me, but maybe that's cause I mostly listen to 80s underground punk

  • ...and punk has GROWN since then. Dont get me wrong, I love Blag Flag, Circle Jerks, the Germs, etc. , but times have changed.

  • so what are these majestic new school bands you suggest me to listen to...that will invalidate how great all the old school bands were?

really, I'm all ears. lemme guess GREEN DAY...NOFX...right?

  • DEFINITLEY not Green Day, but you cant deny how great NOFX is. EVEN back in the 80's....or are you TOO GOOD to even listen to them? God I really hate how some people think they are "more punk" than someone else. Get over yourself man. Ever listen to Strike Anywhere, Rise Against, Anti Flag, Proagandhi, etc? Or are they too "pop" for you too? Or have you ever even HEARD of them?......

  • You don't know what I think, so stick the the subject Einstien.

yeah Rise Against is ok, I own some Bad Religion, & Anti Flag rocks but they aren't "pop punk"(wtf?)

When a band concentrates on harmony and hooks over socio-political content (even the fuck you drinking kind of shock value content) I chalk them up as pop punk. Granted that's what got these guys so big while the other Black bands can't get radio play, but I call it like I see it. I didn't "diss" them but to me they're pop punk.

  • after listening to my library, I have come to one conclusion.....bands these days are just recorded A HELL OF ALOT BETTER!!! If ANY 80's punk band was thrown into a studio these days, they would sound poppy too. Hell, even Bad Religion's shit from the 80's INCLUDING How Could Hell Be Any Worse sounds poppy. So where do you draw the line? And further more, why does it matter? Its all punk!... even the RAMONES sound "poppy"

  • that's funny you mentioned the Ramones, I was just kind of thinking that last night listening to them. their later stuff sounded a lot different just because of that.

it's true with a few exceptions...bands like the GBH, Fear...some of those old bands are just too raw to sound poppy even with todays recording. I remember back in the early 90s some people even knocked bands like Fear (who could NEVER get radio play) just for having decent recording quality. LOL

  • not to comment on yoru little debate, just some suggestions. Latterman, Against Me! (including, but especially before, the album New Wave), Bomb! The Music Industry, Closet Monster (anarchist pop punk), The Flatliners (ska punk, but rather heavy on the fast punk), This Is A Standoff, A Wilhelm Scream

Not all are pure 80's-style punk/hardcore, but they are excellent examples of how good punk currently is. Also, all the bomb! stuff is free at quote unquote record's website

  • thanks, I'll look those bands up

  • this is one of their best songs.

    its fuckin sick!!

whole wheat bread is the shit!

  • this is song and band is pure awesome

  • i saw these guys play in st. louis with reel big fish,

and the singer was high as hell

he came on stage when another band was doing there set, and he threw a chicken wing in the audience

  • haha that is fuckin awesome

  • the definition of afropunk.

  • dirty south punk rock you fool

  • fucking love this song. Reminds me of my dad so much. god bless them for this song
