I never heard of this band, until I just read an article, on the singer's death. It's the first time I hear it, and I kinda like it.
Opeth are dead at the moment they went for commercial success. I've seen them 4 times, they keep getting worse and worse. Dead issue. Search everywhere for good atmo bands folks. Bands like Yearning keep the flame. We have to support those.
For me, Autumn Funeral is the best song of the group. The first i heard form them, back in 1996, on "the Holy Bible". My first Doom song! Sadly, it's hard to find it on the net :/
J'ai découvert Yearning avec cette chanson, sur un sampler metalian ^^ Je ne m'en lasse pas non plus ! L'album qui suis, " evershade " est lui aussi excellent =)
Probablement, pour moi, un des tous meilleurs morceaux du genre (et au-delà ? :)). J'ai ce morceau depuis sa sortie, je ne m'en lasse pas. 1 fois par jour m'a dit mon médecin ! :D
...to be honest it sounds even better then Katatonia, they wish they could play so great like Juhani does.... !! Yearning is such a underrated Band...
this is a fan video, nothing official, i used the same font as katatonia's in the title cause i think it looks cool. But nothing to do with them. Anyway really like both bands
So many underrated bands such as Yearning are left in the dust as other bands who deserve no popularity end up on top... it makes no sense at all

Agree, there are some riffs that reminds of Katatonia a little...
But i think they still own a personalized sound,
Definitely not a wannabe/copy-band, and subjectively i like this song.
