The only people who seem to contest this are new-age gamers who just jumped on the bandwagon. Every person with an FPS background like xcal, Hutch, SandyRavage, etc. ALL agree that sniping = camping.

@NatsuTerran Sniping doesn't have to be camping. I run across more people playing defensive and camping with assault rifles compared to snipers. It comes down to you as a player. After playing CS you realise the AWP is like a lazer, once you're good at aiming with it you can rush spots like you have an AK in hand. On COD4, if you get used to aiming fast with a sniper it wasn't too hard to use it like an M16. You're at a disadvantage but it feels more challenging and rewarding doing well with it.
