How could any one not like this movie? I know it's far from what happened, but they're shoving alot of info into a short time. Benny Ruggerio died from cancer he wasn't wacked. Sonny Black (Dom Nopalatano) was the one who's hands were cut off, and was Killed by Joe Messino who later became the head of that family. Did you watch straight talk a mob story that's not bad at all.

Great film. I think Johnny Depp's most interesting and unique films were in the 90's while nowadays he acts in plenty of commercially successful fairytales to stay on the top. Al Pacino was impressive here too and Michael Madsen with Anne Heche did a great job too. I miss the 90's so much!!!

He then kills the drug dealer and later finds out he was the employee of the month for the biggest crime boss in America. Very violent movie but that's how I like them.

The way Donnie gives an imperceptible glance toward the bartender is perfect, as if to say "Is this guy OK?" Lefty notices all of this, and no doubt approves that Donnie is not "too eager." Pistone was a master of leading these guys on. So many people glamorize the mafia and believe they are "nice guys" but Pistone's book exposes how pathetic they are. They prey on honest businesses and routinely use violence to get everything they want. That is not glamorous.
