  • GREAT VIDEO..... ALL OF THEM ARE AWESOME...WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE FirstLook™ Engine Diagnostic Pulse Sensor, TO CHECK MECHANICAL CONDITION OF ENGINES...THANK YOU X YOUR TIME....WILL (EMMISSION REPAIR TECH)

  • Cruz. You sound smart? Well I have a 1997 Ford Torres GL 3.0 6 Cylinder (OVH)? Well it has 2 Catalina Converter that mains it has 4 Oxygen Sensor 2 lower 2 upper. I have changed 1 lower 1 upper, from each def-rant Catalina Converter. that mains each Catalina Converter has 1 new Oxygen Sensor. That fuck en car is more supped then me. The en-gain is starting an running strong & heating up WHY? Get to me at cruz101942@gmail.com ASAP, Okay man ; ( thank you.

  • Duane, don't mean to nitpick but the code was for slow response, not heater circuit malfunction.Meaning the O2 sensor was "lazy".Great video none the less.I look forward to all your videos. Thanks for taking your time to help us with all your videos.May God bless you & hope Business is good.

  • Thanks for the excellent information!

  • Thanks for the videos!

  • Another great video, thankyou Duane. If you don't like the blu-green tint you are getting in the last couple of videos, change the white balance on your video camera to ' fluorescent' when you are under those shop lights.

  • I wish I had a scope like that, much easier to see what is going on with the sensor.

  • am i the only one having sound issues from this video?

  • loving the scope to prove the fix. I like how you used the sensor voltage to see the sensor is not responding how it should. Youre correct when you said most just throw a sensor at it, especially when working flat rate. This video helps to understand what that new sensor is doing that the old one is not.

  • great video!

  • I got a code P0134 on a 96 geo metro.

The o2 sensor was black with carbon.

Is this my problem you think?

  • i,m new and upcoming tech the video was very useful

  • duane i think your a youtube god......the fact thst you take the time from a complicated and timeky problem to help others is amazing !!! any negative commenters need to go elsewhere....good luck .

  • Great Advice, Keep the Knowledge Coming. Duane, You are the best when

Explaining the Detail in Trouble Shooting Through Video"s !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep Those Vid"s Coming !!!!!!!

  • Hannibal fr the A team,nice vids

  • Duane, Thanks so much for the great videos. I'm a big fan. I really wish I could afford a VERSUS. It will be a while before I can. My question is, is there really a need for the Genisys to test this? Can't the VESUS do everything the Genisys can?

  • @GPSNW The VERUS can do about 5 times what a Genisys can. He simply had them both hooked up so he could show you the scope data, along with the scan data. As opposed to having to go back and forth between the two.

  • @GPSNW asetech76 is right. The VERUS blows all of the Genisys products outta the water, even the Pegysis, which is supposed to be really bad about freezing up. I'm in the same boat as you. It'll be a while before I can afford a VERUS too. Of course, I'm gonna get the gas analyzer for it, 10 foot long scope leads designed specifically for it, pressure tranducers and related adaptors, and a bunch of other stuff. My ultimate goal is to be able to diagnose almost anything, anywhere, at anytime.

  • @CoolasIce2 Sorry to hear you feel that way. I try to present the best videos I can that will help not only the do it yourselfer but also techs who are trying to advance their skills. As far as adding comments is concerned...... that's the beauty of youtube, it's not just my viewpoint. People can add comments that enhance, add to, expand, and basically increase the amount of learning that can be gained from the video. I do try to answer direct questions though. From Duane

  • @CoolasIce2 --But you DID leave a comment on the vid.

  • @CoolasIce2 And yet for some reason, you left one anyway. Dude, stop and think about it. He's a very busy man. Not only does he put up all these instructional video's for FREE, he also runs a shop that probably has so much business that he has to work almost all hours into the night just to keep from havin a huge backlog of waiting customers, not to mention he's gotta have somewhat of a life outside of this stuff anyway. Cut him some slack.

  • Very thorough video, I loved it. I think that guessing the problem gets worse and more tempting the more someone guesses right, but it is by no mean any way of properly doing diagnostic and repair. I like how you emphasize this in most of your videos! A+++

  • great video! thanks for the great tip! love your videos! keep up the great work.
