So many memories brought fourth, I just had to say thank you. It reminds me of the "10 minute" NORTHSIDE intermission that we clocked at 18 minutes. There were 3 screens, and they had an amazing assortment of intermission reels which allowed them to space out the concession crowd quite effectively.
I hope Dave Wendl remembered to bring the Liquid Rush. Walker is probably still puking up the french fries.lightweight. let's go to Quarry Hill and drink TJ Swan. JQ- keep track of your shoe this time..
I still go to the Blue Sky Drive-in in Wadsworth, Ohio. There is also a double screen one not much farther away called Magic City Drive-in. I think it's in Barberton. I don't know about Magic City, but during intermission Blue Sky turns on floodlights attached to the screen. I miss all the intermission films that used to be played at 42 Drive-in (closed), Pearl Road Drive-in (closed) and Montrose Drive-in (closed).
The last time I went to a Drive in movie, they showed Ghost, and Not Without My Daughter. After Ghost went off, I went to the refreshment stand and bought some popcorn and a corn dog and a coke, But , they didn't have an intermission so I missed five minutes of Not Without My daughter.
at 5:15 there is a PIECE of an Intermission from 1979 that gets cut off -- WHERE CAN I VIEW THE REST OF IT??!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I'd really like to find the complete Indian intermission countdown! That was the one we had at my local drive in. If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it!
awesome, thank you, I remember these well, I also like the modern Godzilla commercial,I remember they were still showing these old countdown cartoons form the 50's, sometimes mixed with modern commercials from the 70's to the early-mid 80's around here in Houston until they all started closing down-I went to the McClendon Triple (the Mac 3) on Hiram Clarke and South Main, we sometimes went to the Twin Cities Drive In on Hwy 90 in Richmond/Rosenberg, it had a big mural of a cowboy roping a steer

1:06, why did that guy bring a sickle to the drive-in? Doesn't that seem a bit strange to you?

@thatmuse76 Actually the guy is suppose to represent "Father Time", that thing in his car is a scythe.

At 1:15, they used the theme from that old TV show, "Stump the Stars"!
