Fairtax sounds great -- and we need a whole new tax code.

But Fairtax is a house of cards. It pretends to be able to get about half government revenue by simply making the government pay itself.

Yes - its that silly.

They hope you don't notice, but that's how their math adds up - getting almost half government revenue by this trick of taxing itself.
