  • Falling in love with your music man. Good shit. Lyrics are fabulous.

  • This is like my 5th time listening, Josef.

I continue to be amazed by your writing ability, both lyrically and musically. I love the pauses and the melody...and the interactive dialog between the two characters in the song...especially the lyric: "ouch"!!! :)

  • Great stuff!

  • Perfectly beautiful.

  • Awesome song man! Really diggin' that guitar riff!

  • yay for drifter musics; ur lyrics are complex & well-did. you really rocked this one out Josef!

  • Standing ovation for those lyrics and that delivery!! I've replayed and reread this countless times. Better stop parking your car in so many dimly lit alleyways though ... I'm starting to worry about you ;-)

  • Sounds good to me Josef.Enjoy your wanderings.Ciao for now,Ed

  • AWesome!!

  • One think I really like about this song is your delivery is like a rap which undercuts the bravado. If Luka Bloom (Christy Moore's brother) weren't an accomplished songwriter himself I'd suggest you send it to him for consideration. He made an acoustic folk-rap album a couple of decades ago. Pete

  • Nice edgy guitar, different than you usual melodic picking. Love the "approximate proximity" and the way you pause after "Hey..." on the beer line.

  • Hi Josef, oh what a song. I always need a bit time to understand the lyrics, but they are great! You are a true poet and of course it was right to post this! And I am not offended by the wonderful waterfall. I wish I could have seen one this summer :-)

All the best for you Josef!!!

    Your German friend Anette

  • Terrific song!!! very original! I dont quite know how to pidgeon hole this one! Maybe a cross between rap and spoken word! OUTSTANDING!!! Great guitar works too!

  • I love your tags. ;) Yes, I'm glad you did post. Wonderful lyrics and I love the way you deliver the song too. Very much enjoyed! ~NAncy

  • this I have to listen to again...

    very sweet....very good....those emotional fees

  • i enjoy your performances and songs, you authentic troubadour - so worth the time to listen (and relisten) to -- 5 stars :-)

  • Cool song...love this style of writing, slice of life thing. Great melody too.... *****

  • Hey there Josef... haha,,,, you never cease to astound me with your lytrics :o) this is one of the best things you ever written. It is like a tiny novel, Jack Kerowac would have been proud of this one. Oh, the line about "emotional fees",,, an yes... I resemble that remark, hehe. Great to see you back up Joe. They are a friend's letters from the middle of darkest Africa :o) -Ron

  • I'm waiting for this vid to load, which sucks. But I'm reading the lyrics in the meantime which is great fun !! so thanks for that, wish women would feel obligated to make men ashamed of living in oversized Mcmansion's instead of for living in their car. funny, they usually say "living IN his house" but "living OUT of his car"

  • haha...I've heard it both ways. But I think living OUT of one's car implies some sort of industriousness.

  • liked that really much mate

    cheers from Greece
