The screenwriters simply kill way to many of the characters in the show. Claire, Harry, Alex. Then shipping them of to Argentina was a better idea. Nick also "dies" shortly, but was then found alive. It´is just to much killing of the cast.

I liked the show in the beginning but this has become a too foreseeable scheme. Two people meet, they fall in love but hesitate to tell the other one, then some strange or terrible event makes them confess their love to each other and just when you might think things will turn out right one of them dies under terrible, tragic and theatralic circumstances. It's the same every time and it got kind of boring...

You can´t blame the writers for this storyline - At the beginning Alex wasn´t supposed to die but Aaron wanted to leave the show and Simmone wanted to stay so the writes had to rewrite the storyline ;) ...
