The video was my view on the YVR tazer incident last October, and specifically the ineptness of the RCMP and airport staff's dealings with Mr. Dziekanski. My intent was to remark towards their conduct and maybe reach an audience that would not have had the opportunity otherwise.
Few people outside of Vancouver were knowledgeable that something happened; confirmed from the countless posts I've read stating they were unaware of the accident prior to seeing my video. The attention from the media is something that I was not expecting. I know my clips 15 minutes of fame will be over soon, but am pleased that 50,000 people are thinking about the YVR incident that weren't 2 days ago. Hopefully people will not soon forget this catastrophe.

Mam świadomośc, że mój clip niedługo zostanie zapomniany, ale i tak cieszę się, że 50000 ludzi myśli o tym wypadku. Na szczęście ludzie tak szybko nie zapomną o tym wypadku.
Chciałbym wyrazić moje współczucie i całej Kanady dla rodziny pana Dziekańskiego. Słowa nie mogą wyrazić tych uczuć, jakie przetoczyły się przez cały kraj. Chciałbym jeszcze raz podkreślić, że moją iintencją nie było obrażanie kogokolwiek. To miał być jedynie komentarz do wydażenia z lotniska.
Canadian cops are cruel and inconsiderate!!! They really could try to talk to Robert or if not call a translator, ask for help any person who knows both languages. I'm Polish i I know that you didn't mean anything which could offend Poland. Rest in peace, Robert.
An somewhat unusual medium for this message...But the point gets across none the less. People are under the impression that tasers are non-lethal. Hitting the human body with even low levels of power repeatedly will do serious damage...Even if his heart could take it he would have gotten brain and/or nerve damage. It could all have been avoided with a translator, or one taser hit and a pair of handcuffs...

He chose very controversial way to show his opinion about this tragedy, and that's ok beacause otherwise almost no one would hear about this. Many of you feel offended and angry about this video, but at least you won't so easily forget about this problem. I'm from Poland and I'm ok with this video.

First I want to say that I'm Polish. GreenRiver Thriller, maybe you really didn't want to insult people from Poland (as you wrote of course), but you should become aware of what people feel watching this video. If every tourist or visitor is treated like this in Canada than I would like to say that it really must be sad to be a part of Canadian society (especially if you are working in a border control service at this airport).
So potentially if on his (Mr. Dziekanski) place would be a man or woman from e.g. China, Pakistan, India, Portugal, Spain etc. and if they wouldn't know English language, they would be treated similary to this Polish "immigrant".
Put yourself in the position of the police - not one of those involved officers wanted to take the life of Mr.Dziekanski - they knew nothing about him or why he was acting in such a bizzare and violent manner - they chose a less then lethal use of force option, and for unfortunate and unknown reasons Mr. Dziekanski died. Yes it is very unfortunate, but it was possibly the best option at the tim given the circumstances. Don't be so easy to judge.
I live in Poland, and my opinion on this is - they made a goddamn national hero out of a fucking moron. he shouldn't be allowed on a flight to Canada. that's the place for people who can't get out of an airport (which is relatively simple) and throw chairs at cops. this guy clearly was a threat to the policemen (or perhaps other cops in Canada are glad when you throw chairs at them?). First, they tazered the guy only because he belonged to Pagans bike club ( he was a decorated veteran), then ordered him to show them his hands ( he couldn't due to 50,000 volts in his body), and then they shot him 3 times in the chest (in front of his friend's 3 ans 2-year old kids "because they feared for their safety." Yes, it was a terrible thing that happened here, and I do agree that more restraint should have been used, but the officer did use the lesser of two evils.
If an officer draws their weapon, then they shoot to kill. So the taser offers a MUCH higher chance of the suspect being fine.

If every tourist or visitor is treated like this in Canada than I would like to say that it really must be sad to be a part of Canadian society (especially if you are working in a border control service at this airport).
So potentially if on his (Mr. Dziekanski) place would be a man or woman from e.g. China, Pakistan, India, Portugal, Spain etc. and if they wouldn't know English language, they would be treated similary to this Polish "immigrant".

Put yourself in the position of the police - not one of those involved officers wanted to take the life of Mr.Dziekanski - they knew nothing about him or why he was acting in such a bizzare and violent manner - they chose a less then lethal use of force option, and for unfortunate and unknown reasons Mr. Dziekanski died. Yes it is very unfortunate, but it was possibly the best option at the tim given the circumstances. Don't be so easy to judge.

I live in Poland, and my opinion on this is - they made a goddamn national hero out of a fucking moron. he shouldn't be allowed on a flight to Canada. that's the place for people who can't get out of an airport (which is relatively simple) and throw chairs at cops. this guy clearly was a threat to the policemen (or perhaps other cops in Canada are glad when you throw chairs at them?). I am not for police brutality, but this in my opinion was justified, and it's one less retard for the world.

I understand that there are many forms expression and maybe you really had best intensions by posting this video, but there are some limits that just shouldn't be exceeded. If you wanted to reach the audience you're talking about - you could do it other way. It's not about any "slight against the Polish people". It's about simple respect to the tragedy of that man and his family. I think you forgot about that somewhere.

Many have posted what they thought this video was about. I would like to re-iterate that no slight against the Polish people was meant in any way. The video was my view on the YVR tazer incident last October, and specifically the ineptness of the RCMP and airport staff's dealings with Mr. Dziekanski. My intent was to remark towards their conduct and maybe reach an audience that would not have had the opportunity otherwise.

Few people outside of Vancouver were knowledgeable that something happened; confirmed from the countless posts I've read stating they were unaware of the accident prior to seeing my video. The attention from the media is something that I was not expecting. I know my clips 15 minutes of fame will be over soon, but am pleased that 50,000 people are thinking about the YVR incident that weren't 2 days ago. Hopefully people will not soon forget this catastrophe.

A state police in Delaware, USA did one better. First, they tazered the guy only because he belonged to Pagans bike club ( he was a decorated veteran), then ordered him to show them his hands ( he couldn't due to 50,000 volts in his body), and then they shot him 3 times in the chest (in front of his friend's 3 ans 2-year old kids "because they feared for their safety." Yes, it was a terrible thing that happened here, and I do agree that more restraint should have been used, but the officer did use the lesser of two evils.
If an officer draws their weapon, then they shoot to kill. So the taser offers a MUCH higher chance of the suspect being fine.

It was a fluke thing to happen so shut the fuk up its not like the guy was sitting in a chair being quiet and not bothering anyone and the police tasered him,he was acting crazy and scaring everyone and coulda potentially attacked someone with all his distress

you guys are idiots,a guy is swearing and acting crazy in an AIRPORT of all places and you want the cops to sit down and have tea with him or some shit?If he was a terrorist and taken out a AK and starting blasting everyone im sure there would be an uproar about how the rcmp shoulda took down the guy earlier and that woulda saved a bunch of lives and that the rcmp doesnt know what theyre doing.

Get serious! The cops tasered the guy to death. As erratic as he may have been, there were STILL enough uniformed men there to restrain him with handcuffs. But NOOOOOOOOO! Instead, they murdered him with a taser. Call it was it is. Murder.
