Am I the only one who noticed, that Hitler actually didn't get out the cubbord the whole episode? Well, never mind... For my sake he could have stayed there for the rest of his live...
@HeyArnoldsSpleen And this has what to do with Doctor Who whose show it is supposed to be? And what does that all mean when he wife treats him like a doormat? Little to nil. Enjoy your soap opera / melodrama. I was just used to a show called Doctor Who that for almost 50 years was great science fiction. You soap opera fans have helped convert every show into a soap opera.
@majesticprimate It isn't a soap opera. It's still about Time and Space, and the adventures of a mad boy with his box. Don't forget, this show used to be there to teach kids about History, aswell as timetravel. It's come a long way, and with different writes, it will change. Especially with Moffat, he has made the show a little less magic then it once was. But, these are just all of our opinions.
@MiloTheUberLegend Rory will go the way of Rose's boyfriend, who is allowed off his leash for a little bit just to keep the male viewers on the couch watching their girlfriend's new Soap Opera adaptation of Doctor Who. Can't even remember that guy's name, nor the name of the same helpless character Gwen's husband on Torchwood? Same neutered apologizers. Doctor who was never a boy, he was typically a 40-something - not sure what you are referring to? But these hen-pecked males are little boys.

Dear god am I the only one who feels like Doctor Who has been turned into a daytime Soap Opera? Since when do Doctor Who's silly human companions get to call him "stupid" and send him on little errands?
What started as disturbingly idiotic sidelines about companion emotional problems has now become the driving theme of the show.
My son is 10 and said - I'm really sad, now they are making the show for Justin Bieber fans.
The show is all about a boring, moody girl and her spineless boyfriend
@majesticprimate Spineless? He punched out The Doctor, guarded a large indestructible prison for 2,000 years (without going insane), and then punched Hitler. Did I mention he punched Hitler? Spinless. Pfft.
i still cant take the title seriously, when i saw the last episode i was so tense and then it said "doctor who returns in lets kill hitler" and my whole family cracked up :D
Ouch-horribly ouch-the ony time the Doctor EVER LISTENS TO A RECENT MESSAGE on the phone is when the answer is something that either cannot be given right away-or would cause the person devastation. He ends up running like hell even faster for a while.
........................................IKR I CANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANTCANT WAIT A NY LONGER AND IM AMERICAN BUT STILL LOVIN IT NON THE LESS
Oh wait...he looked all sad while he was listening to the message...so he knows something now, something either so great or so terrifying that he cant tell amy...poor melody
OF COURSE it's only AMY who gets to lament her child's loss. It's not like RORY, one of the most emotionally developed characters on the show should get a chance to show love for his daughter. No, instead, because he is a man, he gets to punch Hitler. Whoop-de-do. Because violence is TOTALLY a substitute for parental love from a male parent, whereas Amy gets to be both violent and show motherly love. So far, Rory has had ONE scene with Melody, and he gave her back to Amy in two minutes or so.
@Myenkeiify Because Rory isn't AS emotionally developed as Amy it means he is not emotionally developed at all? Amy was companion before Rory so of course shes more emotionally developed. Your comment is unintelligent like YOU
I'm saying that Rory IS developed, he's come along more than anyone else on the show so far. Did you even read my first sentence? I'm saying it's both unfair and sexist that Rory does not get to show any parental love to Melody, whereas Amy is given all of it. THAT is what I'm complaining about.
@Myenkeiify We haven't seen any of the episodes yet. We aren't in a position where we can judge whether Rory will or will not be given a chance to show his compassion for Melody. Plus in the scene where he has Melody, the one you referenced, he was crying with joy at being able to hold his child. Sounds pretty paternal to me
Well if this is an example, Rory will be in the background, just a little louder. Yeah, he was crying from joy from seeing his daughter for the very first time, but then Amy takes her back, and he goes off to fight (Like a man 'should'), and then bye bye jelly baby. But in 'Day of the Moon', who do we see with a baby in the pictures? Amy. Do we see any of Rory? Nope. Are we even given an indication Rory could be a possible father? No. Just that Amy might become a mother. It's sad, but true...
@lokebrandon Yeah, but do you think that Amy would willingly pose for pictures with Melody for Kovarian? It doesn't seem like a thing that either a hostage or her captor would do. So I don't think that's when the pictures are from....
@Myenkeiify As we saw in AGMGTW they seem to have treated Amy fairly decent outside of letting her escape who knows certainly wouldn't be too hard to snap a quick picture besides the River's childhood is basically locked so there really is only one place that picture could have come from.
@Myenkeiify I think you are entirely projecting your views on to the character as was shown in AGMGTW Rory is overjoyed to hold his daughter in his hands and is every bit as devastated as Amy when she is kidnapped again the thing is Rory has never been known to show his emotional side he is defiantly more level-headed and rationale than Amy and he should be he's got 2,000 years on her, I don't see why you threw that example of hitler in there? O.o
@tacoboy68 A time travelling alien in his Police telephone spaceship who saves the universe from hundreds of aliens all while trying to unravel a huge story arc in the background of each season. It's funny, dramatic and brilliant.
@tacoboy68 From Wikipedia: The programme depicts the adventures of a time-travelling humanoid alien known as the Doctor who explores the universe in a sentient time machine called the TARDIS. Along with a succession of companions, he faces a variety of foes while working to save civilisations, help people, and right wrongs.
It is also considered by Guiness World Records to be the most popular sci-fi TV series of all time.

@rjhrjh3 That could make things, oh so very much worse. Hitler was smart but he was also insane. Imagine if a competent nazi leader arose, someone who didn't attack Russia or change the bombing sites from RAF fields to London. The nazis could have won if they were lead by a sane man.
@rjhrjh3 It would still happen. Hitler can be credited with the rise to power of the Nazis and their leadership. But had he died, someone else, raised in Nazi Germany, would take his place. WWII was inevitable, ever since Franz Ferdinand got shot.
@Myenkeiify If the Nazi Party had not been exposed to Hitler it likely would have faded into obscurity and WWII might have been instigated some other way.
@jcx34 Yes, if this had been BEFORE the Nazi takeover. This is clearly after. Hitler raised a generation of loyal servants to him. I'm not talking about the Nazis before Hitler, before Mein Kampf and the Munich Putsch. I'm talking about Hitler's Germany, with a booming economy and swastikas. Had Hitler died in this time, had someone killed Hitler in such a time, someone else, a loyal minion to him would have carried on his work. And WWII would still have happened.
@jcx34 I agree. Hitler got rid of anyone who had any brains, as they were all a threat to him. Only he had the power to make speeches that captivated the audience. That was a very rare ability.
