wE HAVE TO FIND OUT WHAT TYPE OF BAMBOO IS GROWING AT THE BRONX ZOO.. IT IS GIGANTIC!!!

My black bamboo grow that fast too. In one week it grew just over a meter

@wolfxinstein where haveu planted them?are they sensible to something?like...much sun,wind etc can those b planted sea side?or in a pot?(do they have big roots?)finally...where did u get it from?thnks

@delagrazia I planted my black bamboo on a half wine barrel. As far as i know, they don't like too much sunlight. I place them, so it will get the morning and early afternoon sunshine. Mine a Clumping bamboo, so the roots are big but in one lot. I got it from the Carribean Garden in Victoria, Australia. And I got it for $50

not to mention that was chopped back old grow , which will obviously grow back much quicker than new
