Most of these poems seem pointless.
As in there is a man looking at his drink and some light comes on and a storm comes but no damage was done.
Then Some woman making some story up.
Then Another woman in a field doing nothing.
Then an eagle jumping and falling.
Completely pointless.
The Armitage/Duffy/1914 ones are much better and have a point to it...
Like Havisham - and - Those Bastards in their mansions.

Well, I edited them a bit to ridicule them slightly, but the Armitage/Duffy poems are even stranger!
'Today I'm going to kill something'
'I stole a snowman once'
what is up with those?
and two of these were pre-1914 anyway!

1. the light wasn't in the poem, nor was the drink, or the tornado, and whether the storm did any damage or not is up to the reader
2. That one we agree is rather pointless but so are all of Clarke's poems (you should see the one about a sheep giving birth!)
3. That's a man, he's skipping, and he's doing it because he loves nature
4. That was Chloé's idea, and it's hard to think of a plot for a poem that's only six lines long
I remember these. That was a fun english presentation.

A few days, it didn't help I made two videos for Storm on the Island. The first one was rubbish...
