This movie was taken at the 1977 Long Beach All-Western Band Review. Band Director, Gerry Kirk. Attached Units Director, Patsy Kirk. Drum Major, Gordon Davis. The 1977 Helix Band was the second of three Helix bands to win Sweepstakes at the Autumn Band Review, and thereby represent San Diego County at the 1978 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.

This is GREAT footage i am the current Helix Drum Major and its awesome to see older videos like this and its awesome to be part of such a great tradition.
