Devin has reached the power of being able to probably get just about everyone in the world to like at least one of his songs. The man's music is beyond sound!
I'm glad there are other people who appreciate Terria as much as me, if not more so. I try showing people this album, but they just don't get it. It's so frustrating.
@spydergarbler It's all about dumbing down your music for the masses nowadays! I am proud to own your albums Devin, because you stick to your guts and put out what your want to put out!
I love this crazy ass Canadian! Deconstruction + Ghost are AMAZING!
@spydergarbler That's the way Devin is for me. I show people Ghost, telling them how beautiful it is, and they say it's just white noise. Okay, I can understand it's not for everybody, but then I show them Synchestra, to start implementing some heavier sounds for them, and they call it bland. I show them Deconstruction and Ocean Machine: Biomech, and they have the nerve to say it's too heavy, too Death Metal-esque. Today's generation is far too inept to comprehend his excellence, I suppose.
this was the first song i heard after i graduated high school. I listened to it as I drove home, really powerful stuff, esp at 2:50 to 3:35 - very reflective
This is my favorite song on Terria. I feel like this song brings me to a higher plane of existence. That may be cliche, but every cliche has its application.
devy so changes your aspect in music and understanding of creativity of a single man.he's a genius of chaos, industrial, prog etc.outstanding artist all the way,he has bipolar syndrome so u must overcome the melody and anti melody.awesome devy!!!
I can't say that I am big fan on Townsend or SYL. But this song blew my head clean off, and if this is the standard of his work, then maybe I will become a fna of his work.
This is the standard of every piece of his work, I assure you. He is the most underrated musician ever.
If you're not into thrash/industrial metal, then SYL probably isn't for you - if you are, great. But his solo music is every bit as magic, and it's music any rock fan.
What album is this from? I have 2 more Devin Albums to get. I like having material out there that I haven't heard. I'm already stoked with the stuff he's put out in the past. I would have to say Bio-Mech is the best
love this song

@HeavySoaddict When does he sing those lyrics? I saw them on lyrics sites but I never heard them in the song...

The atmospheres he creates are unsurpased! I really love the way he blends accustic songwriting with the progrock/metal and ambientlike stuff!

I have this album and Mountain is one of my favorite songs, although Earth Day is not that bad. Hell, the whole album was kick ass!

@brainrape666 Earth Day is so chaotic yet so silly :P i love it and the way it fades away into Deep Peace. A very unique album

SUCH AN UNDERRATED ARTIST!!!!! Kick ass prog metal song, tho it didn't need those few growls here and there

@ANOLDMANONCRACK
Although I kind of agree, they add to the streams of consciousness style of the song.

What?? No growls?? Do you even know Hevy Devy??

well yeah, those growls add to the kickassness off the song. but hey
