@spydergarbler That's the way Devin is for me. I show people Ghost, telling them how beautiful it is, and they say it's just white noise. Okay, I can understand it's not for everybody, but then I show them Synchestra, to start implementing some heavier sounds for them, and they call it bland. I show them Deconstruction and Ocean Machine: Biomech, and they have the nerve to say it's too heavy, too Death Metal-esque. Today's generation is far too inept to comprehend his excellence, I suppose.

I can't say that I am big fan on Townsend or SYL. But this song blew my head clean off, and if this is the standard of his work, then maybe I will become a fna of his work.

This is the standard of every piece of his work, I assure you. He is the most underrated musician ever.

If you're not into thrash/industrial metal, then SYL probably isn't for you - if you are, great. But his solo music is every bit as magic, and it's music any rock fan.
