His stroke drives me crazy!!!! How much faster could he be if that lopsidedness were fixed?? How could he train so intensely and not have a coach work on that?

That's just his style and the style in which he swims fast in. Loping works best in distance, hence why he is champion at the 200m+. I know many distance swimmers that lope successfully.

Normally I'd agree, but I noticed he has a rhythm, and though he's a little lopsided, that may very well be what makes his stroke so strong!
