Its good to see guys with some melodic sound. Playing fast, with no melodic sense is a waste of notes... IMO. i want to hear a song and want to sing the notes/melody.. Daniele Gottardo (good technic lacked melody idea. I guess that Jack won. well polished and crafted song.

awesome melody, nice tone and feel.. it all goes perfect with the backingtrack and is very catchy, but some of his licks were totally off ... but the chorus was awesome ..

the scrunchie helps to mute the strings so there isn't a lot of noise and shit mucking up the tone. I use this technique a lot and it works really well
