  • lol that was the most obnoxious chase scene when he got 'eaten'

  • carnivorous pac-man

  • I think the langoliers are cute :3

  • Bleh, those things haunted my dreams when I watched this as a kid.

  • This is film cuted. :(

    Toomy says: Where im?

  • how did the plane manage to taxi without it's left wing striking the stair case? It would have made more sense if they went into reserve and then turned away from it.

  • 6:23-6:43 IMAO

  • This movie is so special, strange. I can't forget it

  • The best part is the Stephen king scene!

  • Glad it's not Orlando International Airport LOL

  • 1:12 Toomies dad langolier impression was x-tra creepy..

  • 4:00-4:19 FTW

  • talk about your worst nightmares coming true!

and the pilot thought the gas leak was a problem at the beginning!

  • Teacher: tell me how much papers you wrote for me

me: i didnt write any papers for you, I DIDNT WRITE ANY PAPERS FOR YOU! I LOST ALL THE PAPERS YOU TOLD ME TO WRITE ABOUT! AND I DID IT DELIBERATLY, I DID IT DELIBERATLY! I DID IT DELIBERATLY!!! HAHAHAHAHA!

    teacher: YOU ARE SUSPENDED!

and thats the first, last, and only time i toke advice from mr. toomy about school.

  • they should make a remake

  • Craig Toomey is one of the most interesting characters in film.

  • I love craigy waigy :D

  • Why didn't they keep chasing after the plane?

  • @DangerIncFilms It's a metaphor

  • @DangerIncFilms Because the plane is still "today" and not yesterday yet. Remember the beer explanation of how it still tasted like beer because the plane was from the future. I would imagine the langoliers only eat the past.

  • langolier is a kind of ... Pac Man. eat eat eat eat...

  • I love how Stephen King is always in the movies about the books he writes like how Stan Lee is in all the movies about his comic books.

  • Anyone notice that the Langoliers seem to take sadistic joy in cornering Toomy?

  • It's the scrubbing bubbles...with BIG teeth!

  • damn that's a very LONG short field take off.....

  • @lrd95 Actually Bangor International has one of the longest runways in the East Coast. Back then when they were flying Concordes out of Britain and France, they would land at BIA when theycouldnt land in New York.

  • why dont the langoliers eat thro the plane?

  • @furtherflight Probably because the plane is "still in the present"? Just a guess.

  • zomg INTENSE

  • ANOTHER ONE OF STEPHEN KINGS MASTERPIECES.HE HAS A MILLION DOLLAR IMAGINATION! I LOVE EVERYTHING THE "MASTER" HAS CREATED.

  • Wow.. That guy in glasses from the meeting is Stephen King... =)

  • When i watched this years ago those things really freaked me the hell out. They still give me the willies.

  • @smrtim15 i agree. when it showed the thing by teh window (not in the cockpit) goin CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP and at the cockpit that really sent shivers down my spine ._.

  • @smrtim15 i agree . this is a great movie and it's mesmorizing in an eerie way. but cujo was terrifying!! I mean that could actually happen!

  • Bronson Pinchot was excellent, he should have act in a bigger and more popular movie so that people would realize his talent

  • at 8:36 the landing gear goes up, and at 9:56 it is back down

also, why does Toomey have to leave the airport for the rest of them to survive?

  • @cybertail

The blind girl (don't know how to spell her name) drew Toomey out so he could act as bait and draw The Langoliers away from the plane and the rest of the survivors.

  • @cybertail Well, they're drawn to the past, so, by leaving the terminal where he "was" and, yeah. I guess they didn't go for the plane right away because it "contained" the present time, which is why the jet fuel worked.

  • @cybertail He acted as bait so that the plane could leave before the langolieres ate it up.

  • what exactly toomey is?

  • @okay081

    a big time banker

  • @okay081

    a banker

  • @JSwanKilowJ poor soul... I know that kind of stress. (which is why i do exactly what you see me doing now - listening to movies, and occasionally commenting on the job :D) I only hated Toomey at first because i DON'T like overt stress cases.. but as time went on... man.. i get where he's coming from. Sometimes you just want to blow it all up, or lose $43 million.. or whatever.. Poor Toomey..
