Dear me. All these negative comments and for no good reason. He didn't hurt himself. The only reason he cried was because he wanted picking up again. There was nothing wrong with him.
I have left this video posted because I can't fathom why it has so many views and the daily angry comments amuse me...armchair parents unite! He's 4 now BTW and still having a happy childhood. No, he did not bump the carpet hard enough to hurt himself...he could hold himself up and crawl just fine at that age...he was placed on his hands and he plopped his own head on the ground in frustration. It paled in comparison to his headbanging phase and his jumping off stuff phase.
@scarybadger If you are tired of people commenting, you can disable comments, or better yet, set the video so that only those with the link can view it (like your family members). Have a good day!
That's a spoiled baby when they cry the second they are put on the floor, and stop the second they are picked up. Put him down and let him get used to soothing himself or you will be packing that kid around for years.
aww, so sorry ur crying my little bubba! Ok I am not a parent yet so won't know how the tantrums work..but looking at the video, i can see that the little bubba's face hits the floor and if u will hear the pitch of his cries from between:5sec till 20sec, u can sense that it's the cries of pain! I would just hug & cuddle him !sorry I don't mean to sound mean or negative 2wrds parents but just wot i thought is the case, but i can see u guys r loving parents !so excuse me and don't get angry @ me
Ok I do agree with you, but I did notice like other people sad when you did set him down it hit his mouth/face and thats why he was cryin or at that time, of course I dont know what happened before, but thats what I think people are gettin so fed up for.
A tantrum at his age? So much for your knowledge of the developmental psychology. He is just angry and depending on you, to put him where he obviously needs to be: in his bed....
He's adorable and yes there are complainers on EVERY baby video on youtube.. its kinda sad realy.. Ignoring it is the best because they thrive off the responses. I bet this has more views then your other videos.. its because its a video that they can twist and turn into something to bitch about..
Why on earth would your family want to see a video of a whinging baby? What a benal subject matter! Surely you should post videos of his first steps or first words not of you putting him on the floor and him crying about it if they are for the benefit of the family. I am sure his grandparents don't show people and if they do, I bet the people wish they wouldn't bother. Don't post the videos if you don't like people commenting
@Gogglean Oh my gosh.. BECAUSE this video is cute and i'm sure they see lots of loving happy videos but they want to see videos of him crying over something so small. I can honestly tell you are not a parent by your comment so instead of looking foolish why don't you just save yourself the type space?
you are a cute baby and your parents are not giving you a bottle woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow
@Jazzie646 He likely threw himself onto the floor. My son is 13 months old when he's having a fit like this he arches his back or leans in every way in my arms. I'm sure if I don't have a good hold on him he'd throw himself right out of my arms! Waiting for his milk isn't an option when he's crying hysterically & if I don't pick him up he looks for his blanket walks over to me with it then sit by my leg throw the blanket to the floor, then face plant onto his blanket!
This is a baby...not a toddler. Way too young to spoil or throw a tantrum. If a baby is crying, there is a reason...and wanting to be held, being hungry, tired or wet and crying does not equal having a tantrum (at this young age). This is the ONLY means a child this age has to communicate. Totally different than an older childer having a tantrum...not even comparable. My (probably unwanted) two cents.
It's impossible to spoil a baby under six months. Babies learn manipulation around the age of 6 months (remember that delightful "let's drop it so Mom can pick it up so I can drop it" game? Classic manipulation) and need boundaries otherwise they will become spoiled. There is a difference between a physical need and frustration at not getting their way.
@sinisterr8 he didnt even go on the carpet that hard maybe if he was being put down like that on concrete or nails then it would hurt him she put him down gently
Well if you keep picking the baby up when it wants to be picked up you're just going to have a spoiled child. You gotta let them know you can't give them everything they want.
@scarybadger There's only two comments so you must of deleted the rude ones but i agree i always see people being rude and making judgements on youtube videos.. they always have something to say i call them constant complainers of nothing.. they search youtube and search videos to complain about anything, they wil twist nothing into something.. esp parent/baby videos.. i think they do it to make there selfs feel better...
He absolutley smashed his face into the floor, nice parenting.

there is NOTHING amusing about stupidity. In my opinion, this "tantrum" was provoked
by the parents who for reasons one can only imagine, find his being upset "cute."
