  • Wonderful tune, great lyrics, fantastic performance! Thanks for this great song!

    Great Ben!!!!!

  • why does it say stowey in the beginning? were they called stowey before?

  • @ninanineteen Stowey is the name of the folk tune used for the melody.

  • love this song so much! He's Vois is so beauteiful.

    BenのCDを出してほしい〜 Ben is great.

    magnapowの曲 LOVE!バンドも頑張って!

  • Was this filmed in the Temple Church in London? It looks like it.

Wonderful images perfectly in harmony with the lyrics.

I have not heard this lovely hymn since I was at school in the 1950s.

  • It is indeed the Temple Church in London. This hymn was recorded for Songs of Praise and aired in January 2003.

  • Wow, what a pure, sweet voice! Amazing.

  • love this song so much!

but Ben was pretty late with his voice change.

but that is possitive. cuz we could enjoy him more then some of the other boys who was early in ther voice change ;)

    love you libera <3

  • I sang this too in Junior School! From... I think it was 1999 to 2003, but I'm really not sure :D

  • Brings me back to assembly in primary school in east london(selwyn '79-83')

  • I did at primary school in the 60's :)

I didn't understand the words then - it was nice watching it just and being able to understand the words.

  • Lovely voice. Used to sing this at primary school in assembly time.

  • I love this song! When was this taken? Ben looks quite a bit younger in this than the other vids

  • Please watch my piano version of this song!

  • Surely the best ever treble voice?

  • I saw him! He was so tall. I want him to sing as a part of libera.

  • How old is ben on this video and how old is he in the moment

  • not sure how old in this video, probably 11, 12 or 13-hard to tell...maybe less, maybe more, but he's 19 now...so his soprano voice is well and truly gone...he's a baritone now though i'm pretty sure. :) you can find him in a group on myspace called "frontingvocals"...hope this helps.

  • He sings Tenor now, and reading Music at University.

  • Have you heard him sing lately? I heard him a year and a half ago and it was divine :-)

  • Older than you might have thought. This is from the same January 2003 edition of Songs of Praise as the Sing For Ever video, and was recorded when Ben was 15. He is now 20.

I saw Ben just last night in his role as a stage manager for Libera, during their concert at Riverside Church in NYC.

  • He is 20 and is a tenor now...

  • they can sin very good because all boys of libera

  • Ben is amazing here as usual, but for me Joe Platt's version on Free just pips Ben's at the post with his tuning fork like pitch accuracy and slightly more plaintif vocal quality.

  • where can we get the video of the boy's choir? instead of the audio Cds

  • Until now Libera have not released any official videos, except for one or two on the Asian versions of some of the CDs. Best to watch them here.

  • Ben at his very best
