This album/cd holds so many memories I can't help but smile because this joint gave me comfort voiced what I could not say and moved me into a more positive diection when I was unsure which way to to turn "Do what I gotta Do"..I long for the days when real music existed evident in th emotion you felt when you heard that song!!!

I had the cassette single, which had this version, the re-mix, the original, and (I believe) the radio edit. I loved that tape, but it just disappeared one day. I guess someone liked it more than I. I haven't heard this version since 1992...and I've looked everywhere ! Thanks so much for posting this.

Majic 108!!!! Classic!! That's how I got put onto this version of that cut!!! The Quiet storm with Doc Winters!! I used to tape songs off the radio and make my own slow jam tapes!!! Ole school!!! Good lookin out on posting this one, been looking for it for years!!!

This is a classic and used to be played on the Majic 108 Quiet Storm behind "Perfect Match and "Moments in Love"!
