I just got an aerogarden for Christmas- just wanted to nicely point out to you that the manual reminds us to keep the round circle label thingies on the seed pod holders Plastic things with the growing medium. If you take the labels off them, it lets light into the water/bubbler part and can encourage algae growth, which will mess with the chemistry of your set up.

Yep. I found that out the hard way. :( One of them, I'm counting as a complete loss unless they can recover in a pot.
