Virtual PC 2007 works for vista. But it only works for enterprise, business, and ultimate version, so if you are a Home premium or basic version of Vista user you don't get a chance to use it.
that means you don't have enough ram on your actual computer. not digital memory. you would have to buy more ram. or try decreasing the ammount of ram the virtual machine uses
sounds like its not detecting a boot device, is your path to the virtual hard drive correct? when your in the virtual PC console, highlight the virtual machine and click settings, then click on hard disk 1. click browse and go find the virtual hard drive. if there isn't one, make one with the wizard.

ok, when you make a virutal machine you choose how big its harddrive is, so around 5 gigs. that virtual harddrive takes up 5 gigs on your normal computer. when you add files to you virtual one it takes up space on the virutal harddrive because it is already taking up all the space it can hold on your normal computer. hope that helps.

Sorry i didnt mean to delete your last post, but that means that u do not have enough RAM on your real computer to support however much u put, the minimum for tiny xp is 128 mbs of ram. if u have 512 ram that should work but if u have 256 im not sure.
yup, but you need a legal copy of XP, just install it on vista , but once you get the the tiny XP install, put ur disk in(the physical CD-rom), and follow the install instructions from there
the internet should already be setup when you install it, unless you have an advanced server, witch shouldnt taking to long with some computer knowledge

Ok, thank you, very much. It's on an old computer I'm trying it out on and I'm not sure how much RAM it has, I'll have to check later.
