I've seen the U-Man mentioned more than once here. Hey folk's, a lot of those K-SHE classic's we all know and love, where none other than Radio Rich Dalton's own personal collection! Have talked with him more than once back in the day! Hey fkngrvnmj, got any Ruth Hutchison to upload for us ole' die hards
Saw this band several times at the old Redcar Jazz Club and they were awesome ,never, ever dissappointed. They had a great rapport with the audience. Remembered with fondness and never forgotten. RIP Robert x
This is whats up...No offense. I remember when some things were not put into a category unless it was real good. and Friends this is whats up, be good...
The U-man Rocks Long Live KSHE95 & The Sunday Morning Classics Show I Grow Up In Stlouis,Moved To joplin 3years ago & My 3 Year Old Rocks Out To This always shakes her bootie
It's too bad that most people remember Robert Palmer for his videos with the emotionless dancing models. This is an outstanding tack, and Robert had one the best voices around. I heard it on the radio one day last summer, and i knew the voice instantly, but wondered why i never heard the song before.
I reckon Robert just found a niche which he thought suited him. i prefered him as part of a band than dressed in suits, with those stupid models around him. But it did prove successful for him.
Had a friend that worked in the record biz in Farmington Hills, MI back in '72, always bringing by obscure albums. This one totally blew us away! The whole album just totally rocks with Elkie Brooks and Robert Palmer's alternating vocals. And that album cover - priceless!!!
Wish I could fine the lyrics for this AWESOME FREAKIN SONG

This must be the best ever band that never made it big.
