Doese that clutch pull back to ingage or push forward? on our model 60 from 1955 it pulls back to ingage

@79fordblake, the original owner of our tractor put some tabs on the leaver to reverse it. so it pulls back to engage.

@DaltonRayJohnDeere60, a stock early A has around 20hp, then they moved them up to around 34hp with engine mods and different carbs. 60 is supposed to be about same size as an A and a 60 has a two-barrel carb. 28hp is way to low for a 60.
