Very good, thorough review mate. I wasn't sure about the sling feature but the fact I could run or bike with this and not the shoulder bag (which was my other option) has convinced me this is the way to go. Thanks a lot.
like you, i also own a D90 with its 105mm kit lens. i have a spare 35mm prime lens and will soon buy an SB-600 flash. i see no future problem with the space available. initially i thought the bag is a tad big for a D90 but seeing that it fits snugly with a battery pack (i don't own one), i see no worries on that matter anymore.
other than the strap (which i find a hassle sometimes), this is the best compact bag for a D90, thus far. :)
Thank you for the video. I was looking this today but didn't buy yet. I think this would fit for my purposes. I don't have any zoom lenses now but I'm going to buy some day. So I think you can fit 55-250mm zoom in that bag with EOS 550D w/ Tamron 17-50mm attached to camera? Maybe a flash someday too.
I was sure your camera was going to fall down from the bag in the 2:20. Luckily not. :)
thank you for that review. helps me on my decision. first time slr buyer. getting a d3100 with 2 lens kit and sb-400 flash to start. want more room on my bag to maybe add a 35mm lens and an sb600 flash. that's about as far as i think i need to go for family shooting.
Thanks for the great video man. Wanted to buy the 102AW but worried that my camera and grip won't fit in. Got no worries now after seeing that your camera and grip could fit in.
I'm thinking of getting the Nikon D90 with the 18-200 lense. Do you think the camera, with this lenseon it, would fit in the LowePro Slingshot 102 AW?
Oh, and just out of curiousity, what lens do you have in there? My carry-around lens is an 18-200 VR. I hope that isn't too long to keep on the body in that bag.
I've got the 102 AW too and the canon eos 1000d with the sigma 70-200 an there is enough space to put a flash an a wideanglelens like the sigma 10-20 ore something like this!! an if there's not enough space you can buy an little "box" or "bag" for fitting it on the front of the bag!! And what's very good about this you can carry a tripod with you not like tzhe older version the 100AW :D so I♥it

I have the slingshot 100 aw, would you say the 102 is much better? I'm thinking if I should upgrade or not. Do you know what improvements were made to the 102aw?
This was perfect because I am getting a d90 and i didnt want a bag that was wayyy too big, i like that it fits snug with the battery grip. Is it comfortable to wear for long periods of time?
@AmazingDan09 thanks for the review bro... Ill prolly getting this instead of the 202... well im 5'11 and weighing 190 lbs is this fits to me or the 202?

@Asassine0 Hi, I've got an Canon 500 d with 55-250 lens...I think it's big like your camera with the Sigma...do you think it can fit it?
thank's for ur help
floddenrd 1 year ago
@floddenrd of couse it will!!
my canon with the sigma 70-200 is a very very big lens and much bigger than yours.
I think you can put flash 2 other lenses and some filters in it if you position your "walls"in it you won' have any problem!!
just try it a little bit.
I can put my camera with sigma a sigma 10-20 a sigma 70mm and a Nissin di 466 in it (I only have the 70-200 but it hopefully will fit :D
greetings,
Asassine0
