You have totally reason, but I put Ville valo in tags, because Ville and Lauri are friends and made a single together, that's "Apocaliptica Bitterweet" so i linked them together:)
I know the difference between these bands, I love them at the same;)

Oh the rasmus was my first hard rock band. They still very cool! I listen Heaviest bands now but I still like them. The bad thing is the repetition of the same verse lot of times but, what the hell they're good ;)

the repetition of the same verse illustrates the bad period of the mean character of this song, and so Lauri repets the vers in order to enphatise the situation, but, in the end, the guy of the song succeed to escape from his girfriend e so he lives finally in a world without her,giving freedom to hiso own life and become free from his bad past with her:)

well, that's a way to see it, but I like the same idea in a song in differet lyrics, as a story, just in other ways to tell it, but is how I like the songs. Anyway they're great no?;)
