They are made for luxery.. if you want to go fast get a sports car.. you can get more horsepower for less money. besides who needs a daily driver with 400 hp..? hell who needs one with more than 200 honestly? average speed limits on highways are 65-70 and in a lot of towns 55 so what good is it anyway?

I believe there are many people who actually wants this daily usability with the capability to have fun on the track or German highways (I live in Europe). @burnoutmotorsport ill admit bmw v8's are really nice and way high tech but "piece of shit american v8"??? far from it. while the 7 liter ls7 in the z06 only makes 85 more horsepower than the m3... it makes 175 more foot pounds of torque than the m3.. and still gets better gas milage... and by the way it gets to 7100 rpms.. not as much as the beamer's 8300 but still more than 6k... and just so you know i have a e36 m3 so its not like i hate beamers or anything

I've seen countless big displacement CARBURETED v8's rev to 7k-8k rpm easily, naturally aspirated. Our smaller v8's (especially de-stroked 5 liter v8's) were revving over 10k rpm, and that was back in the 1970's. Do some research.
