  • Okay, at the start of the video, WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? Freaky chubby dude trying to impersonate a superhero? o.o Lol

  • Very nice.

  • seen it by blaine nice trick but hard part is to switch top card without them seeing it ...

  • love the card mat

  • @magicmanxyz123 It's a T-Shirt brother, they sell them at Journey's or here :D

    shopogabel(dot)com/products/King-Hurts-Original.html

  • it's a david blane trick by the way

  • this is powerful effect but needs practise on the switch

  • Nice ~

  • the easiest way to not have them look at the card is to have it placed flat on the palm.after you place the card on their palm have them loosely cover it with their other hand.then switch cards from betwween their hands. if both hands are engaged they won't think to use one to turn over the card. there is no need to say anything about not looking yet.

  • what is the most effective way of trying to make the person not turn the first card over? Everyone I do it to always turns it over and it completely ruins the trick for me =\

  • As soon as you do the "real switch" at about 1:27 you just say "now without looking..." and you can even hold onto the card to prevent it from flipping over, but as soon as you do the switch just say, without looking... they'll never flip it over.

  • ok cool thanks! ill try it out :) btw thanks for all of your uploads i literally spent all day on saturday learning from your vids! by far they are the easiest to learn from

  • yeah, you have to be really repetitive with the "without looking" part, especially if you let them look the first time. I always say it twice after each switch. literally "so, without looking, without looking, which card do you have in your hand?" it's just a psychological thing i guess, but it really rams it home that they shouldn't look.

  • it's also a nice little subtelty to say "without looking" exactly as you make the top change. their eyes are always up and to the left or up and to the right anyway as they're either trying to remember or visualise where their card is, but it always fills me with joy to literally be saying "without looking" as you make the TC right under their nose.

  • So how often do you do this? I've done it occasionally, probably 10 times total in my life and I've only had one flip it over on only 1 occasion. Audience control works most of the time.

  • that guy reminded me of my reaction when a friend showed me that trick

  • Does anybody ever mistake you for Jesus?

  • Cool trick, yeah, Blain did it! But he switched in a different way, he put the odd card on the bottom and take the queen from the top extremely fast

  • lol i do not see you as the wrestling type lol. like the trick thanks.

  • btw ... the guy on 2:09- 2:15 with the glasses trying to figure it out = priceless... hahah

  • nice tut... for some rare reason i don't like to do this card trick... i think i did it like 3 years ago and that's it.... but ill try it soon again to see how it works...

    keep it up

  • wow rough crowd, tell me where the queens came from or ill kick ur ass, lol, great trick and performed very smoothly.

  • nice trick , btw wats the lifetime of a deck of cards for performing magic tricks.

  • Oh, wow... hmmm, it really depends on where you leave your cards and how clean your hands are I suppose. If you leave them in your pocket or jacket they could get really crapped up really quickly, just have to take car of them and they'll last longer, I have packs of cards that I got like 4 years ago that still work great because I rarely touch them.

Once the cards turn more gray as opposed to clean white around the borders is when I say that's your duplicate pack for different tricks.

  • i already knew this trick because of the masked magician :P

  • Me too

  • So....why are you watching it? Nice tutorial Disturb, I think this was done by David Blaine too. By the way, do you work at a wrestling ring or something, the guy at 2:04 totally freaked me out, probably cause I'm scared of clowns :p

  • I'm watching it because I wanted to see if he gave a nice tutorial.

  • I work for a wrestling company in Detroit, Michigan, yes.
