I disagree. I played a bit of it, and with some tweaking the gameplay would actually have been pretty good. And let's not forget that this was early alpha, who knows how much better it would have been if development actually continued? ;)

The game also looks a lot brighter in this video capture than it does for me.
I think it actually could work in 3d, but it'd have to be more like a ratchet and clank / jack and daxter type of game. They def didn't have the tech to pull something like that off back then though.
@tokinblckgie That's what I was thinking... Jazz Jackrabbit 3 did get made! It was called Ratchet and Clank. Big, rather humourous weapons that you can upgrade, furry little guy with his oversized weapons, running fast and going to different themed planets to smash things? Another great series of games, I might add, though I'll always come back to Jazz in the end
