How can anyone judge her heart now? Instead of asking Jesus to capture her heart again, maybe you should pray to see through the eyes of God and hear from Him. Just because someone sings certain lyrics or "seems" to be backslidden does not make it to be true. And if it's true, that she has fallen away from Him, the only way to get her back is to love her into His arms. Either way, it's not for us to judge. She is in the entertainment business and that's just what she's doing.

The problem is that she if/when she falls back into His love she will naturally confess "who picked her up" and will most likely lose many "fans". I came here to watch a video of a fantastic artist's early work, and all I see is comments about the change she went through with her music. I find this completely irrational in many ways. She is still the same person she ever was. The same christian she ever was. She is just not singing about God anymore. At least at some point in her life she has done it - which is more than lots of the people commenting on this have done. As an atheist i'm trying to be as open-minded as I can on the subject.

Faith in Christ comes with responsibility, that you share his love and joy with the whole world, your mission field, as Christians, we are ALL called to share the Gospel, all called to be a light in the 'darkness' that the world is cursed into. I am Christian as well, I am a Roman Catholic. I went to Catholic schools in grade school and high school except now I'm in college. I am not deeply religious, though I have faith in God. I always noticed that those who are the most religious ones are the ones who are the most judgemental, most righteous, pretentious and evil. How many times you go to mass doesn't make you better and won't take you to heaven. What matters most is by doing good. Katy is just in a phase. She still believes in God.

How can anyone judge her heart now? Instead of asking Jesus to capture her heart again, maybe you should pray to see through the eyes of God and hear from Him. Just because someone sings certain lyrics or "seems" to be backslidden does not make it to be true. And if it's true, that she has fallen away from Him, the only way to get her back is to love her into His arms. Either way, it's not for us to judge. I came here to watch a video of a fantastic artist's early work, and all I see is comments about the change she went through with her music. I find this completely irrational in many ways. She is still the same person she ever was. The same christian she ever was. She is just not singing about God anymore. At least at some point in her life she has done it - which is more than lots of the people commenting on this have done. As an atheist i'm trying to be as open-minded as I can on the subject.

The point is whether or not Jesus lives inside her, whether or not He is the center of her life, and she has accepted his salvation. It sounds harsh, but if she has not accepted the salvation of Jesus, she is condemned to hell, we all were. That is the whole point of Christ's death. To save us from eternal death in hell.

Faith in Christ comes with responsibility, that you share his love and joy with the whole world, your mission field, as Christians, we are ALL called to share the Gospel, all called to be a light in the 'darkness' that the world is cursed into. As of late, she is doing far from that, but she needs prayer :D

@MillsCrew88 God does not judge the way we do. He judges on a much higher level. For example, hating someone is considered murder. Looking at someone lustfully is considered adultery. What do u think God thinks of His disciples signing about kissing the same sex when especially when they have so many ppl looking up to them. God doesn't look for good ppl, He looks for Holy ones. THAT is scripture. I certainly pray Katy repents and returns to the Lord. God does love her.

I am Christian as well, I am a Roman Catholic. I went to Catholic schools in grade school and high school except now I'm in college. I am not deeply religious, though I have faith in God. I always noticed that those who are the most religious ones are the ones who are the most judgemental, most righteous, pretentious and evil. How many times you go to mass doesn't make you better and won't take you to heaven. What matters most is by doing good. Katy is just in a phase. She still believes in God.

she tried doing christian music like this and even tho she has an amazing voice she did not get enough recognition so she tried contemporary and because more people like sex idols than uplifting music she got alot of money and recognition so she stuck with it... i like both genres but i dont agree with alot of the contemporary lyrics nowadays but she is one of the good ones thst dont only talk about drugs sex liquor etc... she has some good ones. :D

Well, if you follow Christianity, many people met God through Jesus Christ. I'd say there is quite a bit more evidence for the existence of God in Jesus Christ than something such as a Tooth Fairy. Historians never mentioned the existence of a tooth fariy, but contemporary Roman scholars did mention Jesus.
The real question instead must be: Is Jesus, God? You should frame your argument better than swearing and caps - they do little to prove your point.
